Fits Cub Cadet LTX 1045 (13WX91AT056) 08/2012
The new deck-spindles appear as original manufacturer’s equipment, very well made, includes bolts and nuts. The parts fit my 2012 Cub Cadet.One issue, though: Although the drive belt is the proper length, the belt kept coming off from an idler-pulley. I don’t know how. The pulley has to be unbolted to remove or install the belt. The belt came off twice after less than one minute of mowing. I put the old belt back on and it stayed on for two hours of mowing; and it’s still on. I think the new belt is a little skinnier than the old belt; and is able to slip off from the idler-pulley.Disassembly issues. Removing the nut that held the blade onto the broken deck spindle was a tough job. I had to insert a cinder block around the blade to keep it from spinning. The nut loosens in the counter-clockwise direction. For me, I needed a torch to remove several of the bolts that held the deck spindles on. I cracked off three of the bolts prior to using the torch. The issue: Galvanic Corrosion: When two different metals (Aluminum spindle-casing and steel bolts) are in close proximity to each other in the presence of moisture, an electric current is generated between the two metals, with electrons and atoms from the aluminum traveling to the steel bolts, literally welding the two together. Also, the prior owners of the lawn tractor had altered the mowing deck by welding extra metal to the area of the deck spindles. Fortunately, I was able to work around it. Overall, the job did not go smooth for me.Aside from the drive-belt not working for me, this repair kit is a good value.

Cub Cadet Spindle Kit
The parts were very easy to install and worked excellently!! Only comment is would like to have some instruction on installing the new belt and pulleys which I didn’t install. My current belt and pulleys are working perfectly.

Cheap hardware
Very good product with very cheap hardware. One of the bolts broke off in one of hubs as I was tightening it. I did not over torque or cross thread it. It was just a cheap stainless steel bolt.
