Keep the fingers away
The worst thing about this system is that the blades flop around in the space provided and does not hold that many blades. Overall the construction is not that bad and the texture of the knife holds well in the hand with or without gloves. You get a large tail flare that limits the blade slipping out and wide hinges that are easy to clear in dirtier areas of work. All that and you have more than a few options with replacement blades with 2 fingers placed in such a way you get a bit of variance in the blade length.I just didn’t like the holster system. I am used to having the blade in my work belt and using the utility belt to it’s fullest. this added more length and a stiffness that got a bit in the way while working eves and around power drops. Given time, this would become much less an issue, but it really stood out while on the roof and trying the different styles and how fast it would take to finish the runs.Other than personal preference, this was not bad at all. It sat close to the belt, has a safety channel to protect the holster and the blade while still holding the handle nicely in place while playing monkey through the rafters. Not for left handed persons. For sure is designed for a right handed position so keep that in mind.

Cheap plastic
The item feels like extremely cheap plastic in your hand and I guarantee this will not last very long. I’m a general contractor and I use drywall knives all the time. I do like the idea of this product and there were more expensive options to choose from. But as they say, you get what you pay for.

Simple and stiff
When products are simple and easy to use, I consider it to be the best value. This knife has demonstrated that it does just that. The blade holder quality is great, with a large wheel that makes it easy to screw and unscrew. The blade fits into it’s holder very well with little to no issues and it’s easy to grasp when needing to use it. Overall it’s a great find and definitely worth checking out if you’re in the market for a nice tool.
