5/16 coarse thread x 2 1/4 long
These are grade 2 bolts good for jobs that donât need a lot of torque. The threads are short so that they have more smooth shoulder for a bearing surface. The threads look clean and smooth. Itâs a coarse, grippy thread. The screws have got a hex head.They are made of galvanized Carbon Steel, according to the listing specs. That will give a little extra protection from water damage such as rust and corrosion. If you need them for a piece of equipment that might get wet or damp, such as outdoor tools and machinery, this would be a good choice.They are 5/16ths. They come as a set of eighteen. That will be plenty for my needs.

Well made bolts with no visible flaws, thinner head and thread profile for yard equipment!
These are well made for what they are! Because these are designed for yard equipment, they do have a noticeably thinner head profile and also shorter threads. That makes them less able to be used for other parts, but they work well! These bolts had no head blemishes like some other brands do, and also no noticeable flaws, burrs, or manufacturing issues. Yes, these do cost about twice as much as they would at your local fastener supply. But for the convenience of getting them on Amazon sent to your door, itâs worth it!
