Cheap materials.
If I could go lower, I would. I purchased this for my Explorer so I can see my phone for directions and not have to worry about it flying all over the place. I installed it on the dashboard and it was fine for about 5 days. I was driving and it just unstuck and fell off the dash. When I got home I decided to stick it to the windshield, thinking it would stick better. Nope! I was driving and it just stared to melt off the windows. It left the adhesive on the window and it dripped into the vent on the dashboard. So in total I had 5.5 days of it before it became useless. Will not purchase this again.

Mostly pretty good
First the bad.There is an internal screw that sort of helps secure the whole assembly, and with the weight of the Z Fold or even the Galaxy S24+ that thing came undone, rattling inside the mount and also the whole mount came undone from my dash. It was a crazy girl dog to fix, but I did it. I haven’t had any problems since.Now the good.I first got this for my Z Fold 4, which I loved dearly. It was easy to install the mount, the arm gave me flexibility on where I wanted to position it, and it held the device in place and let me see the entire screen. When I switched back to my regular S23+ I kept the phone mount. I no longer needed the extendable feet because my phone can’t grow and shrink, but the springs in the phone holder still work great, and its design makes rotating between landscape and portrait modes easier than other devices. My only concern remains the strength of the suction cup, especially if that internal screw comes loose again, because I’m going to upgrade to the S25 Ultra as soon as it ships.

Practical and resilient.
I was surprised by the quality of this support, the arm is firm and fits very well, it does not move with the vibrations of the car. The suction system clings tightly to the windshield and does not detach easily. It also adapts to different sizes, I use it daily for GPS and hands-free calls, and so far I have not had any problems. For the price, I think it is an excellent purchase.

Iâm really impressed with this phone holder. Itâs super easy to install and works perfectly on both the dashboard and the windshield. A Strong and Reliable Phone Mount
Iâm a truck driver, so I spend 10 to 12 hours a day on the road, which means any gear I use has to handle some serious wear and tear. Iâve gone through plenty of phone mounts in the past, and most of them eventually break.This one, though, feels way more solid. The materials seem much higher quality and way more durable than the others Iâve tried. What I really like is how well it handles all the truck vibrations while keeping my phone steady.For the price, I think itâs an excellent choice. Iâll keep using it and honestly, I donât have a single complaint so far. Definitely recommend it.

Way too big and bulky for our Lexus is 200t. Takes up too much room on dash or windshield. Will be returning for a smaller version. Looked well made and sturdy. Big enough to hold a Galaxy Fold phone.

I’m no stranger to car phone holder (well, who really is nowadays?) and this is perhaps one of the most versatile and secure out there if you want the features it offers (not everyone does though). This appears to be an upgrade of an existing model that I’ve come across in the past and I’m glad to see that efforts are made for continual product improvements. Similar to just about all others (with a few exceptions though), this is entirely made of plastic although it doesn’t necessarily feel cheap.â¡ Phone holderTo begin with, the holder itself doesn’t appear to have sufficient silicone/rubber at the 4 corners (or at least not as much comparing to most others) and it has no silicone coating at the main plate either; both are rather disappointing to see to say the least. The clamps/feet can be extended and adjusted vertically as well as horizontally to the size of your phone (or whatever you want it to hold) as nearly all other holders do and it can rotate and swivel with ease with the help of the ball joint attached to the main plate.â¡ Articulating/rotatable armThe arm is about 22 cm when fully extended out (8.7″) and it’s certainly helpful, comparing to those that are shorter or unable to rotate, if the holder is just a bit too far to reach or if you simply wanna move it out of the way (from the windshield or air vents) etc. The height and the swivel can be easily adjusted via any one (or more) of the 5 hinges/joints (pic 3) and this is certainly amongst some of the most versatile phone holders out there. Note that the arm can swivel by adjusting the tension via the little silver knob (pic 4) located at the top of the middle arm.â¡ Suction cupThe suction cup along with the sticky gel/adhesive is one of the strongest I’ve come across thus far. Of course, just like any other suction cup (and to a lesser degree for adhesives), they are less likely to work properly with unclean/dusty, uneven, or porous surfaces. The sticky gel is softer than what I’ve seen before and it appears to have strong adhesive property in comparison with many that I’ve seen in the past. I had troubles removing it from my desk after a quick test drive of the suction cup.â¡ ValueAll things considered, this is a fairly decent car phone holder/mount that’s reasonably well made, quite versatile, and has good suction capability; however, the phone holder itself does NOT appear to be of the same quality as the rest of the arm which is a bit of a bummer. It’s reasonably priced at $28 for what it provides and its overall build quality, usability, and performance.
