Good sturdy shelving but assembly took longer than expected
I picked up this metal shelving unit for my garage about 3 months ago and its been pretty solid so far. The steel construction feels robust and Iâve loaded it up with paint cans, toolboxes, and some heavier automotive parts without any wobbling or sagging. Assembly was mostly straightforward with the boltless system – you just slide the pieces together which is nice since I didnât want to deal with a bunch of screws and bolts. However, it did take me about 45 minutes to get it together, not the âminutesâ I was expecting, mainly because lining up all the shelf brackets perfectly took some patience. The adjustable height feature is handy and Iâve moved a couple shelves around to fit my larger items better. One thing I noticed is that the powder coating has a slightly rough texture which is good for grip but can snag on fabric if youâre not careful. The anti-slip pads on the bottom work well on my concrete floor though I did add some extra rubber pads for peace of mind. My only real complaint is that the top shelf sits a bit closer to the ceiling than Iâd like, making it harder to access, but thats probably more my fault for not measuring properly. The unit handles the humidity in my garage fine and no rust issues yet. Would I buy it again? Yeah, its a decent value for the price and does what it says it will do, just donât expect lightning-fast assembly.ââââââââââââââââ

DO NOT BUY IT HAS COLLAPSED!!
Extremely wobbly. Parts donât align as should. I had this setup exactly as instructed on the top and bottom half legs connected via the shelf brackets so one pin of the bracket is on the top half legs and the other pin is on the lower half. Itâs connected with cheap ABS plastic coupling inserts. They are garbage. The entire shelf started to lean when stacking 20lbs up to 80lbs on the shelves. It then collapsed on top of itself and luckily no-one was injured and the unit is all mangled and now in the trash. Do NOT buy this cheaply made shelving unit. If I could Iâd do zero stars.
