Just what the drive doctor ordered!
I had purchased a refurbed Thecus NAS, and the knuckleheads secured the drives with only one screw each. Since they are in hot-swap trays, I couldnât use just any screw. These fit perfectly, flush with the rail sides – the drives are now secure, and the trays slide without interference!

Great Hard Drive Caddy Replacement Screws
I picked up a Thunderbolt Quad-Bay Enclosure, and it didn’t have any screws included with it for the hard drive, these ended up being my replacements. They were a perfect fit and allowed the hard drives to fit perfectly and work as expected.Worth it to save you a trip if you’re not close to a computer store.

These do not work in a NAS such as Synology
These will not work in a Synology NAS as they do not sit flush when fully seated. The screw head catches when inserting into the NAS, will use them for other projects.

After reordering after a 2 week delay in my first order that never came, I finally got the screws in the mail. They fit well, but it would have been really nice to have them when I first ordered them.

Works with 3.5″ HDD caddy for Dell PowerEdge R730XD
Good value for money at under 6 bucks. I used these to screw in 3.5″ hdds to the R730XD caddies. They have a flat top which allows you to slide the caddies in and out without issue. The screw aren’t flimsy and should hold up for a long time.

Bought some of these and some SSD caddy screws for my Supermicro CSE-836 12-Bay HDD and 2-Bay SSD drive caddy’s and they are all working as intended. All three bags I purchased had extra screws in them.
