Works well.
Super strong magnets, but back side doesnât stick to a metal surface. Must be mounted at the ends by screws. I will be installing mine on the side of my metal rolling tool cabinet with rivets.

Great for the inside of a toolbox lid to hold ratchets and extensions.
Iâve had it several months. This photo is from when I first set it up and it did not close the lid at all I donât have as many tools on it now as I did at the time. I riveted them to the lid. If I close the lid too hard some of the heavier tools fall off, especially if they are not perfectly flat so I quit keeping those ratchets on the magnets. The extensions stay on. I did not put all six magnets on a stuck one on the wall by my drill press to hold drill bits. If used vertically, it would definitely keep the tools on. Itâs really impressive that it keeps as many as it does on when I close the lid, I just have to close it a little gently. I tried one of the Harbor Freight ones and these magnets are quite a bit stronger. I feel that since I got the six pack that it was a really good deal for the price. I staggered them to clear the struts in the toolbox and to fit more tools across the magnets. They included hardware to mount them to the wall with covers for the ends but those would not work in my case because I was riveting them flat, but I was not going for a beauty contest, just functionality.

Strong magnets hold mid size tools like pliers and alike well. One foot length is ideal to fill small spaces on the wall or on peg board.
