Great for Muffling your Teen Gamer’s battle cries
Great value and actually works! Do you have a teen gamer in your house that loves to yell at his game with his buddies when you are trying to relax and watch TV in the main room? Do the hollow doors or thin walls mean that you have to hear the constant hollers of “lay off me bro, you totally used a cheat!!” or “I’m gonna skibidi you into next week man!” ?? Does your middle age mind wonder why on earth they need to yell so loud using words that make no sense to you?Welcome to the fun life of parenting a teen gamer. Our house has terrible accoustics; whether its the laminate floors, cheap hollow doors, high ceiling in the main room, or just bad luck…I really don’t know. But I am sound sensitive and my teen son yelling at his friends with his headphones on was driving me bananas. I didnt want to be a mean parent just cause Im sensitive to noise but I had to figure out a way to muffle the sound. This was a random hail mary purchase that helped alot!!! I purchased these not knowing if it would work or help at all. And we basically just put them all over the back of his door as we figuredthat was the weakest spot soundwise. These panels did a lot of the heavy lifting on the aesthetic side of making a âmusic studioâ for my husband in the basement. They look great!While Iâm no expert in the science of audio dampening, I was listening to music as I put them up and noticed an immediate difference in the sound quality in the spaceâ significantly less echo and a much cleaner sound on the whole.Probably overkill how many I put up, but they just looked so awesome I wanted to fill in the whole corner.
