What problem are we solving?
Our maintenance-free design prevents debris buildup and promotes airflow, aiding in debris removal.

A-M Gutter Guard was designed by two Amish brothers, Ray and Aden Miller in northeast Ohio. After several years of installing various types of gutter guards, they were motivated to develop a gutter guard that would address issues with existing products. It was clear that affordable guards were poorly designed and well-made guards were over-priced. With that in mind they designed and patented A-M Gutter Guard selling over 15 million feet to date.

Excellent Gutter Guards
I purchased these A-M Gutter Guards for both our house and barn, and I couldnât be more pleased with the results. They are truly top qualityâheavy-duty aluminum that feels built to last, and you can tell theyâre made in the USA with care and precision.Installation was a breeze! I was able to easily install them myself without any special tools or help. The fit was absolutely perfect for our 5-inch gutters, and everything locked into place securley. Once installed, they instantly improved the look and function of our gutter system.Since putting them up, we havenât had a single issue with leaves, pine needles, or debris clogging the guttersâeven during heavy storms. They allow rainwater to flow through smoothly while keeping everything else out. I highly recommend these. Itâs a great investment in your homeâs upkeep, and I love that I wonât have to worry about gutter maintenance for years to come!

Easy to install even for a senior gal; definitely recommend this product.
*4 Year Update at end*I am a 60 y/o woman and I just installed 50′ of these A-M 6″ gutter guards on my 5.5″ gutters (with no help from anyone), and the whole job took me about 3-4 hours. They were a perfect fit, although I had to bend the back of them in some places in order for them to seat properly (due to my gutters not being even). The length/side that goes against the drip edge was easy to bend just by hand, but the entire guard is sturdy, and seem to really strengthen the gutters as well once installed. The total length I needed was 50′ and this box of 50′ fit perfectly…they have about a 1″ overlap cut into one end of each 4′ piece, so adding in extra inches/feet to account for overlapping is not necessary (in other words, the 50′ box covered 50′ of gutter including an inch or so overlap on each piece). Last year I paid a few hundred dollars to have guards installed on my front gutters, and I just noticed what a terrible job was done when I had to get on a ladder for other reasons ( a different guard was used, but very similar to this product). I ended up removing every piece and reinstalling it properly, so I already knew what tools I’d need to install these guards on my back gutters. I found that using a scratch awl & hammer to help start the screws was necessary, mainly on the drip edge side of the guard which is not pre-punched/drilled (this would be my only complaint about this product. Having pre-drilled holes, or at least an indent, would have helped greatly and I’d have given a 5 star rating. There ARE pre-drilled holes every several inches on the side that lays on top of the outer edge of the gutter.). Aside from a scratch awl & hammer I also used good set of tin snips, cordless drill, an extension “thing” (don’t know what it’s called) to hold a 1/4″ hex shank screwdriver bit and #8 x 9/16″ socket hex drive sheet metal screws (in the future I’ll replace these with stainless, but couldn’t find any at this time). These worked perfectly on the gutter edge side, and for the most part on the drip edge side…in a few places I had to use a 1″ long screw because nothing about my gutters seems to be even. Depending on your type of roof you may be able install these by just sliding one side under your shingles and then securing the ‘outside’ to the gutter edge, but this wouldn’t work for me…i secured both sides with screws. You could probably get by with 4 screws per section, but I put more to ensure they lay flat – and we’re in a hurricane area. Properly installed, I can’t see how leaves could possibly enter the gutters, or any other object aside from perhaps roof grit or something very small. Leaves will build up somewhat on top of the guards, which seems to be the case with most of them, but they’re easily brushed off. Having extensively researched gutter guards, none seem to be a perfect solution…but these were definitely the right price, easy to work with, fit my 5.5″ gutters and are definitely sturdy. I wouldn’t expect to have to remove them to clean whatever might make it’s way into the gutters anytime soon, but time will tell. We have oak trees that drop leaves 24/7/365 and the similar guards that I have on the front of my house seem to have done a decent job keeping the leaves out even with the poor install that had been done…so I expect these guards to perform as well or better. Instructions in the box show how to miter the corners…easy to do, and easy to cut with tin snips. *Update: It’s Dec. 2023 and I stand by everything I said about these leaf guards – even bumped my rating up a notch to 5 stars. We’ve had zero problems with leaves or anything else clogging our gutters. They’ve literally been maintenance free. I do have to clean leaves off of the top of them at the corners twice a year, but that has nothing to do with the guards. They have held up just fine & haven’t rusted or had any other issues. Great product.

Installed these on my MN lake home. So far they seem to work great
I used to have gutter guards but they were removed a couple of years ago when we had a new roof installed. These guards were fairly easy to install and they look like they will hold up well. There is a little overflow in extremely heavy rains but they seem to handle the water much better than the original guards. They were fairly east to install and the design makes for a very good fit. They snap into place. My only criticism is that for the price they should include screws.

Great American made product.
High quality product! Ease of installation completely depends on status of your gutters. My are 20 years old and have some variation in width and straightness. This means you need to cut and bend to make fit. Not hard to do but a pain and requires alot of extra screws. On most of the gutter you just pop these in and screw tight. I used over 100 screws on about 75 ft of gutter. Looks great when finished. Perfect thickness for cutting and bending pieces to make fit. Recommend buying A-M screws and an extra pack of them for more than 25 ft. Must have tin snips for installation.

Worth the investment
Great product, donât waste your money on cheaper plastic covers, theyâll just dry rot over time. This is a no rust product that will last forever. Sup easy install

Worth every penny.
If I could I would give it ten stars! This was more than I expected, very well made, and installation was quick. Did about 80 feet in a couple of hours. Each section was about 44â effective length. Originally got a quote from a major company for 14k. This was under 200 and only needed on one side of the house.

Order enough screws!
Just installed so time will tell. Very happy with quality and ease of installation. I bought the 5â and they seem really great. They come a little under four feet in length and it takes eight screws to install each one so order plenty of them so you donât have to search hardware stores and pay higher price like I did. They were thick enough that Iâm confident they will last but easily cut to length with tin snips.

These were a perfect fit for our 5 inch gutters. There were only 2 issues that presented a challenge. On our house the metal roofing was over length in parts which meant the 5 inch gutters were in effect 4 inches back to the metal roofing lip that extended down opposite the edge of the gutter. It was easy to bend the back of the gutter guards on a flat surface, allowing the guard to be fitted, took a bit of pressure and they easily snapped into place. You need to remember where the metal eavestrough cross supports are as the S/S screws will not penetrate. Installed the A-M S/S screws with my impact drill -they were very easy to install and secure the gutter guards. Secondly be thorough in reading how to do the 90 degree inner and outer corners – get it right and it’s easy- takes a couple tries to get it right, so best to use any cut off short pieces to try out first and understand how he overlap works. Cut off the leaf plastic guards over the downpipes when you install to maximize water flow. These are made of very good quality aluminum.I installed no problems. I had my upper eaves done last year by a contactor using their well advertised S/S netting for around $7,000. after negotiating down from $10,000. To do both floors they wanted over $20,000. These on our lower floor gutters I installed myself were $500 for the gutters and S/S screws!!!Great product and extremely great value!

These are simple to install and work great. I have gigantic jack pines that spit pinecone and needles all summer. The needles and pinecones get caught and eventually blow off. I also have large elm trees and they work great foI am going to put them on my cottage now.Make sure to get the correct size, there are 5″ and 6″ sizes. They do not come with screws. I bought some 1/4″ hex head stainless steel screws that worked great. I used 3 screws in each section. These are easy to cut to length with tin snips.
