Works better than advertised!
This pack of magnetic tape rolls is great! It comes with 2 rolls that has a magnetic surface on one side and strong sticky tape-like adhesive on the back. Each roll has a different polarity (North/South), so they do attract and stick to each other, and of course you can also use it on a metal surface where it’s slightly stronger but I’d only use it for lightweight items. The tape feels very well-made and seems pretty durable when I played around and pulling and twisting it, etc. and while still being very easy to cut with typical scissors. It is a great alternative to sticky dots or hook and loop tape (Velcro) and especially useful for things that require attaching/detaching pretty frequently. Unlike Velcro, it is completely silent and there’s no awful ripping/tearing sound each time :)I used it to put up temporary blackout curtains that I attach/detach on a daily basis and put the tape on bothsurfaces – the curtains and the wall – and it stuck to both and holding up pretty well. Highly recommended!

Great for Making Bookmarks
I was looking for magnets to use for making magnetic bookmarks. I needed something thin but strong enough to stay in place on a page. These magnets work perfect! Since one side has adhesive backing, I can stick it directly to my bookmark without the added bulk of glue. And because the two strips attract each other, they stay stuck together around the page better than other magnets I’ve used. They are thin, so they don’t add a lot of bulk or cause lasting gaps in the pages, and easy to cut so I can make them whatever size I need. I would definitely purchase again!

As expected magnetic side, but weak on the sticky side.
I’m not all that impressed with this magnetic tape, not because of the magentic side, that’s about what you should expect for a product under $15 (DEC 2025), but the sticky side it not sticky enough. It fell off of a few items I used, including a dry erase pen and a platsic loop. Maybe its not good with plastic??? In any event, price keeps it competitive, but be wary is you are thinking of sticking to plastic things (even light things). For the most part, if its sticks, it works well. Nothing has falle because of the magnetic side of the tape.

Great for light items
I frequently use hook-and-loop dots when creating speech therapy materials, such as vocabulary books, materials teaching spatial concepts, visual schedules, and token boards. I decided to get this magnetic tape to try as an alternative, since it is quieter and magnets won’t snag my sweaters like the rough textured side of the dots I currently use. This magnetic tape works well for this purpose, and it is useful that I can cut pieces to be as large or small as necessary. This also makes it easy to attach the small pieces to a whiteboard or other magnetic surface until I need them, which I couldn’t do with the hook-and-loop dots. I can also use this tape for posters and other lightweight items I want to hang on the whiteboard (including attaching it to whiteboard markers so they are within easy reach. This tape doesn’t do well with heavier items, even when using the A tape on one surface and the B tape on the other – it works best with light items.

Securely attaching for lighter weight items, like holding up a screen or tent flap
These attach to each other quite securely. Not enough to hold a lot of weight, but to seal two things together they are ideal. My plan is to put one strip on the bottom of my van, and the other on the tent flap for the car camper tent we have. The elastic strip on the tent doesn’t hold against the bottom of the car well enough to be really bug proof on its own, so magnetizing this in place should close the gap. Daily removal is obviously necessary for a tent.It seems to be solidly made, and is functional at attaching to itself. I haven’t used the glue on strip part yet, because I don’t want to have it on my car until closer to the summer strip.Overall, it is a great fit for what I needed.

Magnetic Tape
I picked this up because I have a commercial steel door on my barn and wanted to get one of those screens that you can walk through to put on the door to use in the spring and fall when the weather is nice outside so I can leave the door open to get fresh air, but keep the birds and bugs outside. All of those screens say they are “magnetic”, but that is just for the self sealing strip that you walk through. Their attachment method to the door frame is always Velcro or double sided tape. Since my door and frame are steel I wanted something magnetic so I could take it down easily without a trace in the bulk of the time when I didn’t need it. This magnetic tape seemed like a good idea, but I found it just not strong enough to hold the weight of the screen and still be able to walk through it. Since this probably isn’t the application it was made for I can’t really ding the product for it, there are numerous other applications where this will work fine and can be functional and useful.

Stronger than expected
When I placed either the A or B magnets on the fridge, they seemed about normal. When you put them together, they definitely have a stronger hold to each other, which if you need two items to stick together is good. I ended up using these to hold some heavy thick mats to the metal wall in my garage gym. I was impressed that I stuck the magnet on the wall, peeled off the strip and placed the mat where I needed, and the glue stuck immediately where it needed to. Then placing the item back up, it held tight to the wall and doesn’t even slide around. So these magnets are actually stronger than I expected from my initial impression. I have also found it useful for items like remotes and again, they hold securely. The 2 rolls are each about 7 feet, so this seems like a pretty good deal given how well the adhesive is holding as well.
