These pyramid-shaped ones weigh about 90g each panel and are indeed 2″ thick at the tallest point. In theory, the pyramid shape should allow for absorption from more different directions than the wedge, but there is a slight reduction in density.I put them up about a month ago, and so far, the adhesion has held up. Even through these super humid weeks, the adhesive quality didn’t fail me. Additional adhesive stickers are available for purchase in case you encounter a problem.After letting all of the panels air out, the size and thickness are satisfactory for what I was expecting. They look and feel like something you would see in a professional sound recording studio.Installation was easy after letting them air up. There is a slight chemical smell, which is to be expected with this type of product and packaging. The adhesive parts just need the backing peeled off first, and then you place them along a clean surface. Be sure to clean your walls before sticking them on; you’d be surprised at the dust that can accumulate.For the price, these are a good deal. Should I need more, I know where to find them. I recommend it for anyone looking to start their journey in sound recording quality.
