Great Quality Product For Sound Dampening
I got these for sound dampening when recording podcasts or videos. The way sound dampening works is by reducing the intensity of sound waves, which produces a quieter and more peaceful recording environment. The result reduces echo and reverb, lowers ambient noise levels, and enhances sound quality and clarity. These pyramid-shaped ones weigh about 90g each panel and are indeed 2″ thick at the tallest point. In theory, the pyramid shape should allow for absorption from more different directions than the wedge, but there is a slight reduction in density.I put them up about a month ago, and so far, the adhesion has held up. Even through these super humid weeks, the adhesive quality didn’t fail me. Additional adhesive stickers are available for purchase in case you encounter a problem. After letting all of the panels air out, the size and thickness are satisfactory for what I was expecting. They look and feel like something you would see in a professional sound recording studio.Installation was easy after letting them air up. There is a slight chemical smell, which is to be expected with this type of product and packaging. The adhesive parts just need the backing peeled off first, and then you place them along a clean surface. Be sure to clean your walls before sticking them on; you’d be surprised at the dust that can accumulate. For the price, these are a good deal. Should I need more, I know where to find them. I recommend it for anyone looking to start their journey in sound recording quality.

Work great in my home office / studio!
These have really helped with the acoustics in my home office (where I also record music). Easy to install with the included adhesive dots, and they absolutely reduce background noise and echo. Although they’re not advertised as sound “proof” foam, they still help reduce noise outside of the room they’re installed in.They come highly compressed and vacuum sealed, hard to believe there’s so many in the box when you see it. It recommends to let them air out for 48 hours, which you MUST do, as they smell incredibly toxic at first.A few of the panels were a bit mangled but that’s okay. 50 is more than I really needed anyways. Overall, happy!

Good stuff!
I was pleasantly surprised by how well these Focusound 16 Pack Acoustic Foam Panels worked in my home office. I needed something to reduce echo for video calls and podcasting, and these panels did the trick without breaking the bank.Pros:â Easy to Install â The included 90 reusable double-sided adhesive dots made setup simple. I didnât need any extra tools or damage the walls. Just peel and stick.â Effective Sound Dampening â While these wonât soundproof a room completely (no foam panel really will), they noticeably reduced echo and outside noise. Great for improving acoustics for recording or streaming.â Creative Design Possibilities â The DIY aspect is a huge bonus! You can arrange the panels in different patterns for a modern, geometric look. Theyâre both functional and decorative.â Good Quality Foam â The 2-inch thickness really helps with absorption, and the material feels durable and dense.Cons:ð¹ Slight odor when first opened, but it disappeared within a day or two.ð¹ Make sure to press firmly when applying the adhesive dots to avoid any panels falling off over time.Overall, these acoustic panels are a great value for the price. Whether you’re looking to improve a gaming setup, studio space, or just want to quiet down a noisy room, I highly recommend giving these a try.

Solid Panels That Quiet Your Space ð
This 50-pack of pyramid acoustic foam panels (2âx12âx12â, black) boasts a sleek, matte finish, adding a professional touch to my home studio walls without overwhelming the room. Sized for easy placement, the high-density foam (30 kg/m³, 0.7 NRC) absorbs echo effectively, improving sound clarity for recordings or calls, and the included 300 double-sided adhesive tabs make mounting a breeze. The kit comes with everything you needâwhat more could you want?âand the quality holds up well, no crumbling after weeks. Might wanna let them sit for about a week before hanging, though; they warp and shrink after time, and you donât wanna have to redo your work a second time lol ð . At the listed price, the valueâs strong for a comprehensive noise control solution. This lovely setâs a great pick for quieter, more focused spaces! ðRating: ðððð⨠(4.7 starsâdampens great with a warping catch!)

Helped reduce echo in my classroom
Iâm a teacher, and my classroom has high metal ceilings that echo like crazy. These panels made a big difference. Super easy to put up with the adhesive that comes with them, and they really helped cut down the noise. Students can hear better, and I donât have to raise my voice as much. They come vacuum sealed. You will need to open the package and let them sit for a day or so to fully expand before putting them up. The 50 pack is a great deal. It takes quite a few to get enough wall coverage to make a noticeable difference. Great buy!

Work Great – let them re-blow up – they come compressed
I got these panels to cut down on the echo in my gaming setup and help with the noise from my 3D printer in the closet, and they work way better than I expected. The adhesive squares make it super easy to install â no drilling or damage to the wall, which is perfect since I hate ruining the wall. I stuck them up in a few key spots on the back-side of the closet door and could hear the difference right away. The room and vibration sounds less âtinny,â and itâs made voice chats and game audio way clearer without the background buzz. The foam feels high quality and bounces back to shape after unpacking. I like that itâs dense but not too heavy, and the pyramid design looks cool too. It definitely helps reduce the constant hum from my printer, which makes the space more comfortable to be in. If youâre trying to improve sound in a gaming room or just lower background noise, this is a solid option thatâs easy to set up and looks good on the wall.
