Never sacrifice quality
I recommend this Aisin thermostat highly due to I drive a 2004 Saturn Vue 3.5 Redline with the J35 engine from Honda which the Aisin is OE on this vehicle,I tried putting in an aftermarket and my reading on my dash would climb over the half mark before it would open which means it was overheating now with the original it now stays at a lower stable temperature,its worth the investment due to you can tell the quality and functionality of the original fit without worrying about fit.

Seemingly great quality
Bought this for my Acura TL which at 246k miles still has original thermostat. Since im changing water pump i figured id go on and change this as well. I know Acura uses Nippon i believe but this Aisin looks identical to the OEM one, feels solid, fits perfect, is built in Japan, and is priced reasonably. The only thing you need to do is pick up the correct gasket because the one supplied does not work (for Acura TL anyway). But felpro makes the right one and its here on amazon for cheap. If i have issues with the thermostat i will update this review accordingly

Supplied gasket does not work.
Thermostat looks great. Just like oem. The supplied gasket will not work on a 2015 Honda pilot. The gasket you will need is FEL-PRO 35162 O-Ring.
