Perfect for Organizing My Saxophone Reeds – AAA+++
I picked up this Akro-Mils 24-drawer storage cabinet with the idea of finally getting my large collection of saxophone reeds under control, and itâs worked out perfectly. The drawers are just the right size for sorting them by brand, strength, and cut, which makes it so much easier to find exactly what I need instead of digging through boxes and cases.The cabinet itself feels sturdy enough for what I use it for, and the drawers slide in and out smoothly. It doesnât take up much space, but it holds a surprising amount, and the clear fronts make it easy to see whatâs inside at a glance. While itâs marketed for tools, beads, or crafts, Iâve found it works really well for musicians who want to keep their reeds neatly organized.Overall, itâs been a simple but very effective solution for me, and Iâm glad I grabbed one.

It just what I need, size, plenty of room, able to spread out the “stuff” I need.
It is exactly what I had hoped it would be. It is a bit large (wide), but at 4 ft 11 inches, that is probably why. Hubby set up a storage container a couple of inches above my worktable so I can reach it, but it is a small stretch.I love the size of the trays and having extra dividers for some of the trays will be of help. I have placed some of the items, but it is a slow process because hubby finally gave in and bought me a 6 ft table to do my measuring, cutting, get what I would need to do my painting on the material. Making quilts with buying sheets, good quality ones and cut them into the blocks the size I need.Putting carbon paper down (type that can be washed off) trace the coloring page and then painting with acrylic markers and paint in tubes.I now have plenty of room to do the work I need, area for markers, tubes of paint, scissors, and more with extra room left over.Am so HAPPY to have this table, price was good, it is solid, and I think it will be perfect for what I want to do.Thrilled with it, would highly recommend it for someone looking for something longer and wider, strong (holds 300 pounds) and just what I had hoped for.

This is a great organizer for any LEGO builder. My son loved it so much that I wind up buyin two of them. It doesn’t scratch and is very sturdy. The drawers are the perfect size and slide with ease. No missing parts and a great value for the money. It is much better than buying them at your local store. LOVED them!

Decent cabinet. It may sag if you hang it on a wall, but there is a fix.
The Arko-Mils plastic parts storage cabinets are reasonably well designed and well made, but there is a limit to what you can expect from them. I bought my 64 drawer version to store hardware: screws, nails, nuts, bolts, washers and so on. The drawers themselves are on the thin side, about the same weight as the plastic boxes that some screws and bolts are sold in. They are adequate, but not overly robust. The cabinet frame is also plastic, and like the drawers, it’s fairly lightly built.With this cabinet, you can set it on a surface or hang it on the wall. If you set it unsecured on a surface, such as a work bench or shelf, it’s not all that stable, and may topple over.I chose to hang it on the wall, using the 4 keyhole shaped slots near the corners of the back. This was easy to do, but when I began to fill the drawers with my heavy hardware, I noticed the center was sagging. By the time the filling was complete, it was sagging a full 1/4″ at the center and I wondered if it might collapse over time. I fixed the problem by bolting a 3/4″ thick x 6″ x 20″ board to the bottom of the cabinet. I drilled 4 holes in the board, near the corners, and then used it as a template to drill corresponding holes in the bottom of the cabinet. If you do this, be sure to avoid drilling through the reinforcing ribs inside the cabinet. Once the board was bolted to the bottom, I cut a 1/4″ thick wood shim and squeezed it under the center of the cabinet to straighten it. That seems to solve the problem and make the cabinet a lot sturdier.If you’re planning to use this cabinet for light weight objects, such as beads, fly tying supplies, electrical components, or something similar, you can probably hang it without the reinforcement I described with little danger of sagging. The extra reinforcement is probably only necessary for heavy, metallic items.One more thing. When I was deciding which cabinet to buy, I also looked at some of the other Arko Mils designs that have a mix of larger and smaller drawers. I knew that the quantity of some of my items would be too great to fit in the smaller drawers, but I decided that for those items I would just use 2 (or more) drawers. I’m glad I went this was because it gives me a lot of flexibility.Tip: Avery Self-Adhesive White Removable Labels, Rectangular, 1/2″” x 1-3/4″”, 840/Pack (AVES828) fit these drawers perfectly. If you put the labels on the drawer pull, you can still see the contents through the drawer front.

Perfect solution to a whole bunch of beads
My granddaughter likes making bead bracelets and got a TON of beads for her birthday. Bags and bags and baggggssss of beads. I ordered this before we left her house so that these weren’t beads everywhere. It sits on her desk in her room. She loves how she can see all of the colors of the beads from her bed; they make her happy. It also makes it easy for her to plan out a bracelet since she can see what she has before she starts. The drawers are a really good size and hold a lot of beads. They slide easily in and out. The shell is very sturdy and doesn’t feel shaky at all. An excellent set.

Got the job done
Good little box for storage. Used for bolts and washers, small tools, etc. easy to open, drawers were perfect, no issues with the plastic warping and each pocket opens/closes as itâs supposed too. Not too bulky to sit on a shelf. Bought multiple and they fit together nicely on the shelf, even stacking them.

I love the product, nice and big drawers. The right size. The only problem I had it did not come with the dividers for the drawers. I would like to know how to get a hold of them. I wouldâve given it a five star, but I did not receive the dividers for the drawers. I did some research and found out that the dividers are on the back of the cabinet molded into it just have to separate them.

I have wall-mounted the cabinet and couldn’t be happier. The cabinet has snap-out tabs on the back which double as drawer dividers. The drawers themselves provide heaps of storage and individual configuration options. I thoroughly recommend this cabinet to anyone looking to tidy up their garage/workspace.
