Works great, butâ¦â¦
Bike rack works great, but I would highly suggest using a tie down as well for extra support around the tire/bike rack. I went on a 10 hour trip, round trip, through the mountains with 2 bikes and they were solid the entire trip. The rack and bikes didnât move the entire trip. I read other reviews of the rack falling off and others using tie downs so thatâs what I did. The rack is super light so it didnât weigh down my 2019 Jeep. It was super easy to assemble, didnât take up much space, and I was able to lock my bikes to the rack. Overall, I am very happy with this rack.

Easy to install & remove and great value for money product
I bought this so I could make quick trips to the cross country trails instead of bolting in my heavy Thule carrier. This was easy to put together and holds my bike well. I also still have full access to the rear storage in my jeep. I will still use the hitch mount Thule carrier for long trips or several bikes but this folds flat and installs quickly for local rides so itâs my daily go to now. Itâs very affordable and decent quality for what I use it for. I have a 2022 jeep 392 and it fits perfectly on the rear tire.

Easy to install and use
This Allen bike rack has made it so much easier to haul my bike. Itâs easy to load my bike and unload. The rack itself seems pretty secure on my suv but I would like to see a heartier strap stand for the bike when loaded I have added my own strap for extra security

Defective dangerous product
Upon purchasing this product, I realize thereâs a design flaw, which makes the product collapse without notice upon bouncing down, uneven roads the pressure rides that hold the device at a 45° angle, attaches to the tire spontaneous release upon bouncing with the weight of the bikes, causing it to collapse and the bikes to fall into the street this is not only dangerous. It destroys the bikes up upon addressing this with the company after it happened to me twice they told me it was my fault. There was nothing they could do they wonât offer me a refund or replacement. They simply wonât even accept the fact that they have any liability my fear is it a bikes gonna fall off on the highway and kill somebody Iâve already discovered that there are literally doesnât and dozens of people saying the same exact thing I donât know why, the president of this company is not held accountable and Iâm certain that somebody has traumatic experiences with This problem is beyond me that they would sweep it under the rug. Literally, I feel like this is going to Kill someone by creating a car accident when the bikes fall off on the highway, which there are several accounts of this happening in real life, I would buy this product off the market

Great for the price
Seems very sturdy. Iâm not sure the clamps fit well under the back bumper. I think going over a bump would snap them off. I have a 2018 Jeep Wrangler JK so Iâm not sure if the newer Jeeps (JL) have a thinner bumper but mine seems too thick and donât trust the clamps to not snap off going over a bump. So instead I put the straps under the tire and under the back doors bottom edge and it works perfectly, very secure. Think itâll be great for short distance trips to bike trails near my house, which is what I need it for.

Better than expected, solid.
I was planning to buy a trailer hitch mount style rack this year for my 2018 Wrangler JLU. I even installed a 2″ receiver just for that purpose.For a few reasons, not the least of which was a 4 week delay on the one I wanted, I decided to see what was available for tire mount. Not sure why but I just didn’t like the idea. Instead of a receiver rack costing hundreds of dollars I decided to try this one.I was pleasantly surprised by the perfect fit and ease of installation. Seriously, 30 sec to install, probably 10 sec to remove.I put one hybrid bike on it. It doesn’t wobble, vibrate, sway, nothing bad. It does not block my hub-area mounted backup camera with bike installed.I wish everything I bought worked this well.

Great for jeeps, or any vehicle with an external spare tire.
I recently moved from Tennessee to Florida for school and needed a bike mount to carry my bike. I have to say that this bike mount is by far the best option I’ve found to hold a bike onto the spare tire. The hitch mounted bike racks seem not to hold onto the hitch mount very well and bounce around a lot. I can say that this bike rack, when mounted correctly doesn’t move an inch.installation was fairly simple with, but be careful when installing the rack into the riding position. the arms are under extreme tension and I’ve pinched my hands several times getting the arms into position. other than that install was pretty easy.over all I have to say that this rack is one of the best bike related purchases I’ve made besides my bike. the rack hold well and hold up to the abuse of driving nearly 700 miles. 10/10 would recommend to all bikers.

Works well for short trips.
I purchased this product for quick set up. I think it is secure enough for short drives but its lack of strapping around the tire would make me hesitate to use it for long trips.Giving the product 3 stars as the package was missing the two bottom strap bolts. I was able to procure from hardware shop for $2.00. More frustrated that i had to look for them only to realize they were not there.

Excellent and lightweight, easy to put on and take off, with convenient storage. Installation was simple, and everything met my expectations. It fits perfectly on my JL Wrangler Rubicon spare tire. It accommodates two bikes of any size without any conflicts.

Just got this for my Jeep JL and itâs super well built and quick and easy to install. I would recommend attaching to the back frame instead of the door. Once installed itâs super solid and sturdy. It doesnât move. Easy to attach your bike and go. Would recommend.
