Nice quality lock.
I am impressed with this lock. It went on easy. It has a flat area on the keys so a person can use an engraving tool to mark the keys, it worked slick! I do handyman jobs. I will keep these reasonable priced locks open for future jobs.

took about 10 minutes to get the inner knob on the door
great, just had a pain trying to put the inner knob on to the door with the outer knob no matter what way i turned the knob it just wouldnt fit I couldnt force it in and spent several minutes turning it trying to get that sweet spot, but door knob works great pretty easy putting on except the inner knob was a bit of a challenge

Not bad once I got all the parts where they needed to be.
I’m a senior woman and it took me 3 tries to get this on correctly. First I had the key part on the inside and the thumb lock on the outside. Then I had the spindle latch facing the wrong way. DUH!!) It was hard to keep untightening and retightening the screws with the worry that I’d strip the heads. Finally I got everything facing the right direction and tightened. It works but is a bit stiff. Maybe that’s how it’s supposed to be and our old door knob set was just loose. Hopefully it will last a long time so I don’t have to go through that again any time soon. Satisfying to have done it myself but not fun in the process with all my mistakes.

This was easy to fit and came with good instructions. I have basic DIY skills and was surprised that I managed to do it unassisted. You will need a screw driver and an electric drill. The hardest bit was getting the old lock off.

Where do I start…Not easy to installThe locking mechanism doesnât lockThe handle itself is so loose it actually wobblesWhen installing it, the two knob sides donât line up so I spent over half an hour trying to put the pieces togetherThe dead latch intuition piece was not even a standard door dead latch, so trying to replace it to make the door work wasnât an option, same goes for the cylinder (the thing that connects the inter and outer knob).Nothing lined up properlyThe screws were placed too close to the knob so ruining the threads of the screws is inevitable.Iâve installed many door knobs and this is the worst Iâve ever encountered. My advice, go to a hardware store and get a 20$ doorknob. At least you know it will work.
