Buy this if youâre itchy.
Worked great for my poison ivy, it stopped the itching pretty fast. This was a good price and easy to put on. Itâs pretty wet at first when you first put it on but then it dries and gives you itch relief for hours. Smells good!

I ordered a bottle of this Calamine lotion and received instant relief from the itching. While it won’t make your poison ivy rash magically disappear, it will help to stop the urge to itch it and make it worse with open sores.Super easy to apply, I just used toilet paper, but cotton balls might be better. A small coat lasts me about 4-6 hours before I reapply.100% would buy and recommend this lotion.

Very impressed. I have used calamine lotion for years and I didn’t think it could be improved…but this medicated version really does the trick. It relieved the itching quickly, dried up the rash effectively and made me a happy camper…literally.

Good Amazon Basics Medicated Calamine Lotion
Just before reordering our usual brand, Caladryl, we decided to try the Amazon Basics Calamine Lotion instead. We were pleasantly surprisedâit helped reduce itchiness quite well and has a mild, non-overpowering scent (which is great since Iâm sensitive to strong chemical smells). Most importantly, itâs effective and easy to apply. The consistency is just rightânot too thick, not too runny.

I broke out with post partum hives horrendously, this was the only thing effective enough to keep the itching at bay. The smell is similar to any calamine lotion, I do wish it was a bit thicker as it is rather runny but it did the job!

Works for HFM!
Although it doesnt state that it can be used for HFM (Hand, Foot, and Mouth Disease) our pediatrician recommended it. Our youngest two children got HFM right as school ended for the summer. It was terrible and although there is no treatment for HFM our Dr said we could use this to help soothe the rash. I was skeptical at first, but it actually worked! Applied before bed and their rash looked so much better by the morning.
