Just got it and already love it!
This is a fantastic safe. Took me 5 minutes to read the instructions and 5 more to get everything ready. I installed it in a little cabinet and looks fantastic. Feels very strong and has multiple ways to unlock it in case you forget your code or run out of batteries. The price is amazing as well.I bought the smaller version and it has plenty of room to add sheets, social security card, passports and other documents.Definitely worth it!

Great little safe!
This is a great little say for anyone looking for basic protection of important documents and small items. It has great storage capacity and comes with a nice little shelf inside the safe, the safe is large enough so that you can fit sheets of paper or larger without any issue.Very heavy, high quality, safe and a great deal for what I paid for. It. Would buy again.

Great small safe
The is a well built small safe that took me 5 minutes to unbox, install batteries and program. I did not even need to open the manual that came with safe. It came with good quality mounting bolts but I needed this safe to be portable when I travel so purchased a Master Lock Black Python Bike Lock with Key. I used this lock to tread through the back 2 mounting holes in the back of the safe so as to secure it to just about any fixed object like a kitchen sink drain pipe or cooper water lines. Right now I have it on top of a book case attached with lock to 2 drilled pilot holes in back off book case.

Great value for what you got.
Easily fits in the closet and it takes care of the basics like watches and documents, but itâs probably not the safest safe there is but it works for basic needs. And the price is good compared to what Iâve paid for real safes in the past.

Great Value, Solid Safe.
AmazonBasics Security Safe 0.5 Cubic FeetGeneral:I purchased the safe from Amazon Warehouse Deals (the item was backordered and I wanted to get something in place before traveling). I couldn’t even tell that it had been “refurbished” or “used”. All of the necessary pieces were included-2 keys, instruction manual, 4 anchors and the safe itself. If you are concerned about the safe not being fire rated, just buy a fire resistant bag and call it good.Install:I had zero issues with the installation. I ended up only using two of the drywall anchors that were included. I was able to use 3″ lag bolts into a stud for the other two. Overkill? Probably, but that safe isn’t coming out without the stud attached to it. I read a few reviews of users saying, “the included anchors didn’t fit through the hole of the safe”. That is by design. Simply take the anchor assembly apart, slide the bolt head and washer through the safe and reattach on the other side. Just an FYI, the included anchors are designed to be used in masonry or brick but will work in drywall. If you just plan on mounting it to the wall, go grab a few carriage bolts with some spring toggles and you should be good to go. Mounting to the floor? Get a lag bolt with a good “bite” to it. Sink those suckers in and you are ready to go.Usage:Keypad was easy to program and the backup keys worked great. Things that beep drive me nuts so I went ahead and got rid of the pcb mounted speaker immediately. Simply unscrew the two phillips head screws, disconnect power (I might as well tell people to play it safe) and pull the the PCB assembly. You have a couple options here.1. Poke a hole through the speaker (long cylindrical piece making the obnoxious sound).2. Put a glue or epoxy into the speaker.3. Put a small piece of duct tape or electrical tape covering the hole (if you want to have the option of removing it at some point).4. Use a soldering iron and desolder the connection points (I am a bit of a perfectionist and like things to have a clean appearance).5. Take a pair of pliers and rip the darn thing off.I have had zero troubles with the safe of the operation of the safe so far.Pros:*Easy to install.*Secures to wall very securely.*Piece of mind living in an apartment that valuables can’t just get swiped.*Good size, which makes this easy to stash away in a closet or inconspicuous location.*The two shelf spaces. It makes organizing the safe much easier.*Heck of alot better than my old “safe” that I could open with the end of my fingernail clippers.Cons:*Beeper is annoying.*Beeper is annoying.*None.Summary:You are getting what you pay for here. Sure, it isn’t Fort Knox but it will stop or slow down would be robbers/roommates/junkies/maintenance men with sticky fingers etc. I plan on buying a couple more just because, I am an American, and that’s how we role.Enjoy!

The safe is secure, strong, and made well. It is a good buy
Safe didn’t last very long. I lost the key and no way to get a replacement, I even tried a locksmith. The locksmith tried to open it with several different picks. He had to brake it open with a sledge hammer which destroyed it. Don’t lose the key. There is plenty of space for most needs. Also there is a keyboards for a number, however that too would not work.

It is a very basic safe. It can be used to keep things from people in the household (e.g. dangerous things from children). I doubt it has much value against break-ins. It is heavy but can still be carried away by an adult. Of course, it can be nailed to the wall but I am not handy enough to do that.My family members including myself have the habit of misplacing important documents, which is what I bought it for. In this sense, I use it as a storage cabinet. It is large enough to store a 15” laptop (17” might work too but one has to wriggle it a bit to put it in).

Cassaforte adatta per cassetti o comunque da usare in piano. Non particolarmente adatto da usare sulle pareti perche’ lo sportello si apre in verticale ed e’ anche abbastanza pesante pero’ volendo si puo’ anche montare su parete. Qualita’ costruttiva molto buona. Ottimo rapporto qualita’/prezzo.
