Don’t worry. it’s not 4 HP!
I almost did NOT buy this vacuum because in the spec’s it was rated at 4 HP. One HP is 746 Watts. So 4 HP is a tad shy of 3000 Watts. That would pull about 25 Amps of current from a household circuit. That was way more than I wanted to pull in my shop where I have other lights, machines and computers on the same circuit. I made an educated guess/bet that someone somewhere made a mistake in listing this as 4 HP. So I bought it anyway because everything else about it looked good.When it arrived, I set it up and put it on my Kill A Watt meter, and lo, much to my relief it pulls only 790 Watts (see photo). So I can use this in my shop when other things are on as well.Does it work? Oh yes. It is great. It has considerably more suction than the little plastic vac I bought at the big orange chain store (which I did kind of like for its small size and general utility, but which never seemed to last more than a year or two of moderate use before the bearings would wear out). The hose on this machine is larger diameter (which means less resistance to the airflow along the way) and nicely flexible and even rotates in the fitting on the vacuum body so that it is easy to change the orientation of the working end. It also blows air out the exhaust very well when you want to plug the hose into that end and use it as a leaf blower or car drier. I was skeptical about whether I would enjoy having casters on it, but they don’t take up a lot of extra room and it is kind of nice that this will follow you around easily as you vacuum a shop or you car. It comes with a useful assortment of tool end fittings. Overall: perfect moderate size (not too big or too small), economical price, excellent suction and blowing power, sturdy enough build, good hose and tool attachments, and luckily it doesn’t draw so much power that you’ll be blowing circuit breakers!

My old shop vac bit the dust. I was looking around for a replacement and this one seemed like the way to go. At its price point, it had better construction (stainless vs plastic) and more power than the competition. It comes with more attachments that Iâm ever going to use. It has plenty of suction power and so far it has handled everything â assorted dirt, metal shavings, sawdust, etc â that Iâve thrown at it.

Great vac
This shop vac works great. It was easy to put together only took a few minutes. It comes with all the attachments I could want and the storage to put them. It is powerful and cleaned better than my normal vacuum. Plus itâs Lightweight enough I can carry it easily with one hand.

This is a great vac for home workshop use. Plenty of suction and useful attachments that stay together while using. All metal canister and a washable dust filter bag, too.

I was looking to replace our wet/dry vacuum cleaner for our garage, but didn’t want a large one. I had purchased one from a store, but soon discovered it was just too big. I looked on Amazon for a smaller one and read many reviews for others and decided that this would work just fine. It come with attachements on board, it has alot of power and the storage capacity hold quite alot before needing to empty. Itt vost less than the one I had pruchased instore which I promptly returned one this one was delivered. The reviews were all positive, and the price was very affordable. I’m planning to get a lot of use out of this in our garage. If you’re looking for one for either your garage or inside your home, check this one out, I’m confident you will be glad you did.

Powerful little sucker! (Excuse the pun!)
I decided to get one of these smaller 4-gal “shop vacs” when I realized what my 16 gal was capable of in the garage during reno. I have a Dyson ball, several stick vacs and hand vacs. I have significant arthritis and back problems. Lugging/pushing the Dyson was getting too hard plus not getting into tight spaces without changing parts and pieces. I saw this cutie and decided to try it. It is NOT heavy! My main issue is that I have 4 indoor cats and they AREN’T hairless! I tried it out and WOW! It sucked up fur and food debris around their dishes like it was nothing. And not hard to pull around either. The cord is shorter than the bigger vacs but so what. That’s what I have multiple outlets for! It also has a Velcro strap to hold the cord once you wind it up into a circle several times. Isn’t dragging or flopping around. The wand and attachments are about the same size as regular vac tools which makes it easier to get under furniture and appliances. There aren’t any frills or fancy parts. Just the container/motor, hose, wand and a few attachments. I suspect that the big container of attachments for vacs I’ve had for over 60 years will have some that will also fit this if I need something special.I really like that it is also for wet problems. You never know what cats are going to knock over next!

Wow! For the price⦠and in compares to others similar to this, itâs outstanding! But to me is weird the bag , the way that the dust itâs collected. I used to have a Panasonic, that I bought in Japan, but to be fair, I shouldnât compare them, because the models are different, the concept if you will. I bought this because Iâm sanding a few doors and the frames, and I wanted to use it also, around the house. The stainless canister looks good, the suction itâs strong, like my compact Japanese one. Stronger that one that I returned because it was too weak. The hose is flexible, but maybe slightly thinner, and I can vacuum with 2 of the plastic extenders? that came among the included tools., standing⦠not bending myself to do itâ¦I used to see this concept all the time, but never used it ð®, now I ordered it because of the home improvement that Iâm doing, not taking the doors out⦠and needing to deal with all the dust from the sanding phase. Also the drywall⦠Iâm dealing with gypsum walls and concrete. Didnât see this option before I ordered a slightly smaller one from Armor All, no extension hose, or suction power. This is slightly bigger, and this place is small, but because of the quasi, Iâm more than willing to ignore it. I think that itâs a good product, and Iâm happy that I ordered it. Thanks Amazon ðð¼!

Amazon Basics -Came packaged really well. Wet dry vac. Vac works well with good suction. 4 Gallon vac with 3 hp engine. Comes with 6 attachments. 3 hose extensions, small brush, large brush multi purpose bristles and water squigi removable attachment. Perfect for cleaning up any mess with ease. The cord is short at only 6 feet. You will need an extension cord. Iâm pleased with my new shop vac.

works great in garage and on outdoor patio, much easier, lighter to use on patio than a leaf blower which just blows back on when windy again. Shop vac picks up leaves with ease and easy to empty even if a leaf gets stuck in the tube. about four pipes and easy to remove each one. Again, don’t need to buy bags. Saves money.

Its amazing! The suction is great, the size is great.Only grip is that the lid of the vacuum must go on in a specific orientation which can be annoying, instead of it being able to just snap on either way. It’s kinda like a normal USB compared to a USB type C in how you have to put it on rotated correctly.Other from that its great.
