YOU NEED A SUBSCRIPTION FOR THIS TO WORK!!
I purchased the Arlo system many years ago because you didn’t need to have a subscription to capture the video and it worked very well for all these years. I decided to add a couple of extra cameras around the house so i purchased this newer version not knowing you need a subscription in order to record the video. It comes with a 30 day free trial so it started working immediately but after the 30 days, it stopped working and of course now after 30 days, it can’t be returned. WHAT A SCAM!!

Refurb works well
Aside from being shipped the wrong model, then correct one being overnighted to me (thanks AMAZON you are awesome). I am pleased with the refurb Arlo battery operated wireless doorbell. It was easy to add to my existing Arlo camera subscription, tho a subscription is not required to use but you will need it for instant notifications. What can I say, it works great. 🙂

Ordered this refurbished. Very reasonable price and works great. We have Arlo cameras and wanted to add a doorbell camera also. Considering it is refurbished, arrived like brand new and have no complaints. Price was great also when comparing to a brand new one.

Wonât connect to Arlo Hub.
Tried and tried to get it to connect to the Arlo hub and just wouldnât connect. At one point it said hub undiscoverable and I was right next to hub. I have two Arlo cameras and they are working fine but this just doesnât mak any sense why it would not connect.
