I have used Asurion to cover many items. They are dependable for repairing items. The process is quick and easy. They text/call and email on a regular basis to keep you updated along the process. My robot vacuum came back repaired and very clean.

I usually never buy extended warranties. I bought a $160 Shark Navigator vacuum and a 3 year Asurion policy for $30 (so about 20% more). At 2.5 years the wheels fell off, and without the special screws and hardware to re-install them, I contacted Asurion online through Amazon. I thought Iâd be shipping the vac to Shark for repair. Instead, within the 3 minutes it took to submit the Asurion claim, I a had full value credit for the vacuum in my Amazon account. Iâd give this product and process 10 STARS!!

UPDATE MAY 9, 2020. After putting in my claim earlier this week (and receiving ZERO feedback on it from Asurion), I went to their website this morning to track my claim. I was shocked to see that my claim was denied because “The problem you described did not meet the terms and conditions of the agreement”. I bought a robotic vacuum cleaner that suddenly quit being able to generate or follow it’s own maps! It could not clean! It bumped into the wall until I put it back in the cradle!ASURION IS A SCAM! I plan to pursue this with Amazon (who offered the policy at checkout). We did nothing to damage this vacuum. It just stopped working. This is NOT a reputable company and there is absolutely no reason why my claim should have been denied.Here is my original review:In August 2019 I purchased a robotic vacuum from Amazon. I never buy extended warranties, but this time I decided to try it. Last week the vacuum quit functioning properly so I was glad I had purchased the extended warranty from Asurion. I went to their website, where it said I could file a claim online. I completed the entire process and clicked “Submit”, only to receive a message that my claim could not be processed online and I would need to call them.So I called and got through to a person who took all my information and then asked if I could hold for 1 or 2 minutes while she processed everything. I sat on hold for TWELVE minutes and then got cut off.I called back and got ahold of another person. She took all the information again. She seemed to have trouble getting the claim to “take”, but finally told me that I would receive an email within four hours telling me what the “next steps” are (I was assuming the next step would be sending me a new vacuum. Apparently not.)After 20+ hours I had still not received the email that was supposed to come within 4 hours. I decided to go to their website to see if I could track my claim (or if it even existed). Luckily (I guess) I did find it, and it told me that my “next step” is to upload a copy of my receipt that shows that I purchased both the vacuum and the warranty. So I searched through my email and found my receipt and uploaded it. (I never did receive the email, but the website said they sent it to me.)So now my next “next step” is to wait 1-3 days while the powers that be at Asurion decide whether or not to okay my claim. So that’s where I sit now. It’s becoming exhausting to deal with them (I suspect that’s intentional) but I won’t give up. I paid for the warranty and the sweeper broke). In short, this seems to reinforce my longheld impression of extended warranty companies. They sell the warranty, but then make using it very difficult. I expected this experience might be different since the warranty was presented by Amazon at checkout. I guess I was wrong.
