The Asurion Plan Came Through For Me.
This was my first claim that I did with Ausrion. I had a food processor under a 3 year protection plan. About 2 1/2 years in, the processor’s blade got stuck and no longer could get removed. I went ahead a tried to file a claim through the Asurion website but the site hung a bit and seemed to direct me about. So, I ended up using their chat feature to communicate with a human. After giving some information like my name and Amazon order number and plan number, I was given an email with a free return label for the processor. I dropped off the processor to UPS in a couple of days and even before Asurion received the product I received my covered amount in the form of an Amazon gift card.Overall, the process was mostly straight forward (except for their website a bit of a hiccup).I do recommend their service plan if you want a protection plan as they gave a hassle free payment of the covered amount.I give them 4.5 stars out of 5.

In the end it was worth it to by a protection plan.
For the second time, I purchased a Mueller Ultra Kettle: Model No. M99S (the first in 2022 and the second in 2023). This time, I followed my instincts and also bought an ASURION protection plan. Lo and behold, the new kettle lasted only 11 months before breaking.To get a refund was easy. I received an email shortly after I bought the second kettle. The email had all the information needed to replace the kettle. The process was easy and quick. I was required to send the defective kettle to a location in another state. Fortunately, I had kept the original box, so I was able to ship it in the original packaging without any issues.There was a time when manufacturers produced quality products and stood by their brand. Unfortunately, that no longer seems to be the case. If I had relied solely on the short warranty provided by Mueller, I wouldnât have been able to replace the defective appliance.As for the third kettle, it will not be another Mueller Ultra Kettle: Model No. M99S. I chose a made in China, unknown brand. There is no protection plan available, so when it breaks, it breaks.

Reimburse for faulty warranty and CanvasLot milk frother.
Asurion does not cover CanvasLot. That should have been stated when the warranty was offered. Amazon please take care of this. I would like a refund of $5.99 for the Asurion Warranty and at least Amazon credit of $39.98 for the CanvasLot electric milk frother.Edit: 3/2025 1 star. Seller didn’t respond. $35 dollar unit that doesn’t froth after 1 month. I bought a $6 3 year warranty through Amazon that doesn’t honor CanvasLot.After a month it stopped frothing. It still heated and I could hear the motor. I removed the whisk and I could see a small metal post. Then I realized a small plastic piece was still in the plastic part of the whisk. That plastic part is supposed to stay attached to the plastic that surrounds the base of the metal post.Iâve accessed the warranty, yet it doesnât seem to have a way of actually using it.Asking for help on the warranty or a refund or a replacement frother.I attempted to file a claim through the Asurian Warranty I bought through Amazon. The claim can’t be filed because Asurian doesn’t recognize the brand “CanvasLot”. I paid $39.98 for the milk frother. I would like a full reimbursement or a replacement.

Worth It!
This was well worth getting. I no longer had the receipt for the milk frother but I found my order on Amazon. I had it for two years and the coverage was for three. It was simple to get a hold of them on the phone and drop the frother at the UPS store. Simple. Effective. Ethical.
