My cat broke both side open within a few hours. The device is cheap plastic and does not comeWith ice packs. The listing clearly states that batteries are not included, but did not mention the ice packs.

I bought this in preparation for a trip but no matter how closely I or anyone else in my family followed the directions, we could not get the unit to turn on, even after switching out several sets of batteries.

Good concept, not a good result
I think this product is on the right track for providing a way to feed cats wet food when an owner goes out for a night. However, when we set up the food and the ice to keep it fresh, itâs hard to set the timer, it didnât one up for my cats despite having a new battery and the timer set correctly. We came home a few hours after it was supposed to open and the ice pack had already melted and the food wasnât good. So Iâm glad it didnât open. I believe it worked once or twice, so thatâs ok. I donât recommend this product anyway.
