An automatic dog food feeder that has great features and flexibility in feeding our dogs
Saw the Yakry automatic dog food feeder and decided to give it a try for automatic feeding, scheduling and video. Unboxing the item gave all the necessary parts and instructions to put the feeder together and operate it manually and remotely. We have 2 dogs: A yellow lab and a labradoodle who normally have separate bowls for feeding, so getting them to adapt to a single feeder should be entertaining at the minimum and would the feeder perform as expected. The dog food feeder was straightforward to set up and adding it to the home network through the smart home app was easy to do. There is camera for viewing who is eating at the bowl and there are buttons on the front side of the feeder for manual feeding, camera and reset. I set schedules to dispense food at 0730 AM and 1800 PM. The feeder worked as advertised and the dogs are eating the deposited food. Couple of things to note: 1. The battery is for manually dispensing food only. The feeder needs to be plugged into a wall outlet for complete operation. 2. For two dogs that have been trained on separate bowls, you may need a separate feeder or have them work it out on who will eat first, etc. Now, we can go away for a day or two knowing that we can dispense food at will for our dogs or set timers/routines for scheduled feedings. The other bonus is that you can interact with your pet with the video and microphone. Our dogs are not use to that aspect yet since they are used to be yelled at to stay out of each other’s bowl lol. Overall, the automatic food dispenser a great addition to our household giving us the freedom to leave our pets for short periods of time without worry of them missing a meal. We are also considering taking the feeder on camping or other trips due to the large capacity storage of the feeder and the added convenience it has. Overall, it was great purchase.

Perfect Feeder for My Corgi Duo!
I purchased two of these automatic dog feeders for my two corgis, and theyâve been a fantastic addition to our routine! Setup through the app was super easy and intuitive. The built-in camera and two-way audio work surprisingly wellâI can check in on my pups and even chat with them while Iâm away.One thing I really appreciate is that while the app offers a paid subscription, itâs completely optional. All the basic (and most useful) features work just fine without it. The feeders even take screen captures, which has been great for figuring out which dog eats at which station. I attached the picture of it and it took me a little bit to find this setting in the beginning, but when youâre in the app and you click on the bottom right to bring up the feeding menu and schedule, all the way to the left click on messages, and there is where you can find the screen captures for any emotions detected.There is battery back up it takes 3 D batteries. My only complaint is itâs on the very bottom so if the batteries die and thereâs a full hopper of food, you have to take the food out to change the batteries. Not too much of a deal killer because I donât think the batteries are going to drain very fast. They are there just for back up for my use.Overall, these feeders are reliable, easy to use, and give me peace of mind when Iâm not home. Highly recommend for multi-dog households!

Well designed and great features
Works GREAT! Even though it is designed for smaller kibble (<16mm), I tested the delivery amount on my dog's brand (16-22 mm size) and it delivered a consistent amount in each of 7 consecutive feedings, only varying by .02 oz - very accurate! The app is super easy to use and the camera offers excellent visual quality and a wide field of view (see photos). I thought the message I recorded (that plays as it feeds) was too quiet but the dog responds every time. The hopper and cover are not super sturdy, the cover arrived chipped a little but it did not affect function. I suspect an aggressive dog may be able to destroy it. The desiccant packet feature in the lid is smart, to keep the food dry. Maybe the best function is the ability to easily program feeding times and vary the amounts and then getting a notification message after every feed.

This feeder is amazing! The app was fairly simple to figure out. It makes it easy to set a schedule for the food. The portions are in grams instead of cups. Iâm not sure if there is a way to change that. Other than that, the feeder was set up in minutes and spins out the perfect amount of food. They can hold a whole bag of my dogâs dog food. If we have a long day at work or traveling, we can ensure our dog is fed with his feeder. It also has a very clear camera and microphone to see and speak to your pet well also grabbing a picture if youâd like. As long as the feeder is full of food, you can set it and forget it. Highly recommended.

All the features and solid Best pet feeder
After a year of having a Skyme feeder, the motor gave and it stopped distributing food.I saw this Yakry and the features are just about identical but there are some great additions.The Smart Life app is so much easier than the Skyme App.This distributes food so it will not jam like the Skyme. Plus you can see the bowl with the cameraIâd give it 5 stars but it doesnât have Alexa commands. Since it goes through the Smart Life system it should be easy to tie commands into Alexa like other fans, lights and other smart home deVICES.I Hope they do that.
