A Great Exercise Companion
Long before I decided to get this weighted vest, I’d been seeing people in my neighborhood using them. They seem to be the latest exercise “thing”. A friend recommended this particular vest. It is comfortable and fits great. It’s adjustable to a degree but be sure to look at the chart to match the correct size and weight to your frame. The chart said ten pounds was right for me, which seemed like nothing but I could tell the difference the minute I got out for my morning walk. It took a bit of effort to walk briskly with the extra weight, but not too much. I’ve worked up from one mile wearing the vest to four so far. The vest itself is very comfortable and well made. It fits close to the body and balances weight on chest, back and shoulders. Unlike the many backpacks I’ve used for hiking over the years, it doesn’t rub in the wrong places or jostle around. I really like that it comes in different colors, some of which are bright so as to make you more visible to drivers if you’re walking or running in busy neighborhoods. Highly recommend if you want to add a bit (or a lot) of weight bearing to your activities.

A functional, convenient way to workout while walking
This vest is wonderful. It is comfortable, adjustable, easy to put on, easy to remove, has a convenient phone pocket with another smaller pocket that functions well for carrying doggie waste bags. It is so much better than carrying weights in a backpack, which is what I was doing until I discovered this vest. It functions as a rucking weight. Weights in the backpack gave me some minor low back pain and also were potentially hazardous if the backpack swung and hit something or someone when I put it on or off. This vest comes off very easily and safely as the weight is evenly distributed throughout. I use the 12-lb vest and wear it daily when walking my dog. We usually walk between 3-5 miles daily. When walking uphill, I can certainly feel the effects of carrying the extra weight. It is a definite deterrent to gaining weight, that’s for sure!

Good for working out.
This does exactly what it says it does. Lifting it by hand, it seems very heavy but once on it feels natural. It did have a chemical smell and I kept it outside for the first night. After that it lingered but wasn’t too bad. I feel it gives me a more effective workout. I am a petite woman and this small one fit me well.

Love this weighted vest! Actually received it yesterday and immediately went for a walk with my pup.Definitely got the heart rate up and burnt more calories than the day before, same walk, no vest.Details:Mondays walk (no vest) – 1.3 miles – burned 91 cal and 111 bpmTuesdays walk (with vest) – 1.3 miles – burned 107 cal and 137 bpmI will be using this on every walk! Very easy to use, just put on and clasp the front and you are good to go. Mine came with a pouch for my phone which I think goes on your arm, however I attached to the front of the vest. The back of the vest has a mesh pocket that is the entire length of the back of the vest, however I do not find it easy to use – I cant reach anything behind me, so unless you plan to take the vest off to access, I don’t think THAT pocket is too practical. That’s the ONLY negative I have for this!The weight is even distributed, no smell, easy to adjust, functionality is great! Can be used while walking, running, working out or even just chores around the house.

Nice Vest!
I had been wanting to order a weighted vest fort a while. I ordered the 12 pound one. I workout 4-5 times a week and the first couple of times I wore it i wished I would had ordered the 10 pound one. I think that after a few times your body gets used to the weight and it is less hard. I think that now I am good with the 12 lbs. The vest is comfortable and fits fine. I am about 170lbs and its perfect. It is adjustable.

El chaleco me queda bien. Lo uso para caminar. Seguà las instrucciones para medirme antes de comprarlo y no tengo ningún problema con que la prenda se mueva o se hunda. Es cómodo, aunque me duelen los trapecios, pero eso se debe a mi falta de fuerza en esa zona y no es culpa de la chaqueta. Respecto al olor fuerte que algunas personas perciben, no lo he experimentado, además, el fabricante indicó que se ventilara el chaleco antes de usarlo, lo que parece haber ayudado a disipar el olor a quÃmicos. Hasta ahora, las costuras se han mantenido en su lugar. Recomiendo esta prenda.

I got the vest to prepare for an intensive 2-weeks hike and it worked perfect, I still use it for walks. I got 9kg one, itâs too heavy for me to run with it, but could also be used for push-ups, pull-ups etc it fits well, is comfy, the closing is good quality and easy to adjust. I minded the smell, it was an awful smell of an industrial nature, after few months itâs almost gone and it does not bother me.
