Great shorts, confusing size chart.
Love the shorts, no complaints aside from the slightly confusing size chart. My son typically wears a boys youth Medium (8) in sweatpants and shorts (we get most of his bottoms from the boys section in Wal-Mart). They’ve been getting a little snug on him, so I wanted to get him some bigger shorts for the summer that did fit him. Now, I likely would have gone ahead and ordered a Large before reading the reviews, but they had me a bit confused. Some say the shorts run big, a few others said they run small, etc.. I checked the size chart, and it stated that their Mediums would fit like a size 10-12, which would be a Large (10-12) in the bottoms that we usually buy for my son. After a day or 2 of thinking it over, I eventually decided to go with Medium instead of Large, as I really thought the Larges would end up being way too big and have to be returned. The waistband on the Mediums ended up being almost literally the exact same size as his old size Medium (8) sweatpants, the ones he’s growing out of. Good thing, in our case, that he’s really only outgrowing his old pants in length and not so much in the waist. Thankfully the new shorts do fit his waist well, but they leave no room for growth, so this is likely the only summer that they’ll ever see. I’m OK with that considering the price (I bought these on sale, not full price!) and quality. The shorts are plenty long for him reaching right at his knees. Lengthwise, I’m sorta glad that I didn’t get Large because the size chart states that the length for those are 1 inch longer than the Mediums, and I’m not so sure they’d have looked good a whole inch past his knees. However, I do wish the Mediums had just a little more room in the waist. Overall, I’m happy with the shorts. They have pockets, are a nice, breathable and very soft material, not so thin that you can see through them, but thin enough that they’re great for summer. I would purchase these again (on sale! Not for $40, but that’s just me).MY ADVICE FOR THE SIZE CHART – don’t pay attention to the actual size labels like Small, Med, or Large. Use the measurements! I did measure the waist on them when they arrived, and the sizing is definitely accurate when using the measurements. Don’t compare a size Small that you already own to a size Small in these shorts, as I feel like there’s a good chance that they won’t be the same. Don’t use the number sizes, either (such as 8 or 10-12). Use the measurements if you feel unsure.

Comfortable, Stretchy and great length!
These boysâ shorts are a great find! The material is super stretchy and soft, which makes them really comfortable for active kids. I also love that theyâre a bit longer â perfect for play, sports, or just everyday wear.They do fit a little on the bigger side, so if your child is between sizes, you might want to size down. But overall, theyâve been holding up well and have become a go-to in our house.Great quality and really versatile!

Recommend for you kids
Bought this for my son. Very good value for your money. He claimed they are comfortable and happy with his shorts. They are not see through. Not very thick either so they are not hot. As a father with a very active son, I recommend this shorts. Size fit as described.

Slippery thin fabric
They are well made and fit correctly, but my child did not like the âslipperyâ material. We will keep them and Iâm hoping they will like them better as the summer days get hotter.

Size guide is incorrect.. It states a small is a size 8 but I received a small size 7.
I ordered a size small in these shorts because the size guide stated that a small was the equivalent of a US boys size 8. We received the shorts and I was super impressed with how soft they felt and they seemed to be nicely made. My 9 yr old son has level 3 Autism so the way clothing feels can really bother him sometimes. He absolutely loves how soft and silky these shorts are so that was a win. The problem was with the sizing. The shorts seemed to fit him small even though he wears a size 8 in all other pants/shorts and they’re usually a lil big on him in the waist but fit in length. Due to this we normally have to stick with pants/shorts that are adjustable. He’s on the smaller size for his age, as of a week before me leaving this review he weighed 56lbs and is 52in tall. Based on the measurements listed in the sizing guide he should fit the size small that’s listed as a US size 8. My son can’t stand the way tags feel so when I went to remove the tags from all the shorts I realized that it said they were a size small 7 and not a size small 8 as listed in the size guide. It’s really disappointing that that they have the sizing listed wrong because now we’re stuck with shorts that he won’t be able to wear for very long. Most of his shorts that I bought these to replace were size 7s. With inflation right now, I can’t just be wasting $40 on clothes that wont last the summer. I don’t know how the other sizes are but just beware, if you need a size 8 and your child’s measurements fall with in the range listed for a size 8 according to their sizing chart, don’t order a small. No clue what size their extra small would be but an extra small clearly isn’t a size 7 like they have listed if the small I received was a size 7. Other than the sizing problem, the shorts are great. They’re made well and feel like they would be super comfy if they just fit correctly.
