Customers say

Customers find the valley controller works well, particularly after heavy rain, and effectively prevents water from overshooting gutters. The product receives positive feedback for its quality and debris removal capabilities, with one customer noting how it sheds leaves and debris from the roof. Installation experiences are mixed, with some finding it easy while others find it somewhat difficult, and opinions on value are divided between those who consider it well worth the money and those who find it overpriced. The product is made of plastic.

    Great product
The roof line of our garage is perpendicular to family roof line. So, a trough of rain water is directed down toward the eave trough often missing it and flooding the patio below. While I had to slightly modify this device to accommodate the existing trough width as well as its elevation relative to the roof eave, installation was easy. Shortly, after installation a storm event occurred and I witnessed the flowing trough of water being directed to the eave trough with no overflow to the patio and no accumulation of Debry. It work wonderfully and I highly recommend this product to solve similar problems. “GREAT DESIGN”

    Fixed My Longstanding Gutter Issues!
I bought two of the corner ones (valleys) and two of the flat ones (for over my front door). I had three places that overflowed on a regular basis and I was losing hope of finding a good solution. Other attempts to stop the overflow would always result in trapping leaves and acorns and end up flooding over anyway. I have gutter covers, but water would shoot right over them and pour down off the roof. These worked extremely well and I couldn’t be happier. We have had some major rainstorms and nothing flows over my gutters anymore! So happy I came across these after hours of searching for an effective solution to my problem.

    Works great
Works great, had a downpour today and no water overshot the gutter. Only issue is that they are plastic and worry about them fading. Good thing is you hardly notice them so if fading occurs may not matter.

    Great invention!
These things are amazing! I was skeptical at first because the material they are made of did not seem too durable. I paid my contractor who installed my gutter screens to install these since some of the gutter screens had to be cut away to fit these in. He was a bit skeptical too. I used to have what looked like Niagara Falls shooting from my inside corner roof valleys during even the lightest rain shower but not anymore! Even in winter, we did not have the icicles and ice damming like in the past. It is not quite a year since they were installed but so far, I am impressed.

    it works BUT!
It works, we dont see any overflow yet, we are yet to see heavy rain but we had some quick down pors and we didnt see any over flow. Here is the BUT comes from, and few suggestions to the the inventor.#1 – Not all roofs are steep, if the roof is not steep enough this become impossible to install without lot of modifications. , I have to cut in the middle all the way to the bottom where we need to cut the sides off to, i had to secure it with two screws on the top so it doesnt come off peeling as my roof is not that steep.#2 – Narrow valleys need the diverter to be cut on both sites to fit. I had to cut the both sides of the top to fit in my valley#3 – Its $25 fix, you could include two extra screws in it for people who want to screw it on the top, it comes exactly with two screws.#4 – If you have gutter guards you need to cut them to be able to make this work.#5 – if you have low pitch roof depending on how your shingles are installed, this will actually push the diverter up, creating more space to caulk between the shingles and the diverter, measure and check twice before you cut the sides. Don’t follow what you see in the instructional video, or you will end up with a blob of caulking on the sides so water doesn’t go underneath. It took me almost 2 hours to get this set up and glue down.

    Doesn’t work.
Unfortunately this was a massive waste of time and money even though I bought the the flat controller I still received a corner and had to cut both of them, as soon as I had a heavy rain I quickly learned these actually made the water flow worse water just now flies over these. Lucky for me I drilled holes in my new gutters and pulled up new shingles to install something that works worse than the 8$ gusher guard from a hardware store. Save your money and time good idea but doesn’t do it’s job.

    Good idea, bad design.
The design makes the device sit above the gutter which has the potential for the water to run over the gutter and not into it. The design is to prevent the water from overflowing, instead it causes it to miss the gutter altogether.I tried several cuts and adjustments to make this sit in the gutter to prevent the overrunning of water, but ultimately just cut so much of it that it’s unusable now.Better design, a way for the water to get caught in the grooves and be forced into the gutter would make this product useful rather than a water slide over the gutter.

It’s harder to install than it looks. I didn’t think it would work once it was installed. Checked on it in the winter & spring expecting it to have fallen apart but it did it’s job through ice & snow and looks exactly the same as when I first installed it. Aside from the install difficulty this thing works.

I don’t usually write reviews but I had to on this one. Firstly the instruction should be presented when purchasing this product because you have to drill inch and a half screws through the face of your eavestrough as part of the install. Next you have to modify it and allow a gap at the top so crap can run straight in your eaves trough like Pineneedles and then cake the Silicone to it in the instructions. The theory behind it is good but unless you have a perfectly square 90° corners and your shingles are cut all the way back to the edge of your roof and there’s no slope to your eaves trough in the corners you’re screwed. Of course being a guy, I tried to bastardize it to make it work so I’m not even going to attempt to return them. Just don’t waste your time or your money. I can guarantee this one won’t last the winter with the cold weather.
