Great Cutting Board Kit.
Quality wood for making cutting boards, at a good price point. The selection of wood is great and easy to combine with other species. The length and width make it great for sending through a planer.

All straight and flat
Very pleased with this lumber. They are all straight and flat with good grain patterns.Perfect for me to dimension and cut up and then glue into a cutting board.Don’t know if I just got lucky but I ordered some exotics from the same vendor, Barrington Hardwoods, so we shall see.

Pretty Good
Most of the boards were fine. There were a couple that were pretty roughly cut with frayed corners and some warping. Some had some discoloration, and I wouldnât have picked them had I bought in person (price of buying sight unseen). One of the walnut boards was not 2â wide the entire length of the board and had a little taper (1-7/8â on one end vs 2â on the other).All in all decent value, especially if you donât have access to tools like a jointer or table saw to cut down and square larger pieces.

Good, not great.
Firstly, arrived earlier than expected and all of the walnut coloration was perfect. The negative of this bundle is that there is definitely 2 different types of maple with inconsistent grain patterns/density/coloration. The cherry is much lighter than i usually work with as well with similar issues to the maple but not as severe. Out of the 15 boards, 2 were bowed…but not severely. All will need jointing which is understandable as they do only state 2 sides. Can’t use for the project i was going to do but they are all usable and at the very end, good pieces.
