Once connected to our home WiFi, the feederâs camera streams a live 2K video feed to my phone. The picture quality is fantastic â I can see the iridescent detail on the hummingbirdsâ feathers! It also has an AI that attempts to identify the bird species and it auto-captures photos and short videos whenever a bird comes to feed. The first time we got a notification, we gathered around my phone like excited kids. It captured a slow-motion clip of a hummingbird hovering and drinking nectar â absolutely stunning. The AI labeled it as a Ruby-throated Hummingbird, which was correct. Sharing these clips with friends on social media has been fun (itâs like I became a nature photographer overnight). From a usability standpoint, the app is pretty intuitive and lets you adjust settings or review the gallery of bird visits. I did have one instance where the feeder lost connection for a bit, but resetting it was easy. Very cool device. I’ve wanted one of these for some time. This one in particular is great because it has solar power on the roof so once you charge it, you don’t have to recharge it all the time it just stays charged via the solar power. The app is easy to use and gives you notifications including identifying the birds you’re seeing. Super easy to mount with lots of options, from being able to screw it into something, strapping it around a tree or a fence post, even placing it on top of a tripod. It holds quite a bit of bird seed so you’re not constantly refilling. It seems well built.

It functions well and easy to set up. We used a 4×4 post to attach the bird feeder. Perfect size and is very sturdy. We get so many different birds and so far my favorites are the cardinals and red bellied woodpecker.
