I’ve been using these daily for over a year
I work 12 hour shifts driving forklift in a food storage warehouse. I bought these so I could hear my phone ring, to keep my ears warm (it’s-5 degrees in the freezer), and to listen to music and podcasts. I have no trouble hearing what I’m listening to. There is no built in microphone, but you can talk into the mic on your phone. They stay turned on even if im not listening to anything, so i can hear my phone ring. This is a big advantage over my earbuds, which turn off after 1/2hr of inactivity. If I need to talk to someone I can easily pull the ear cup away from my hear and it pops into a detent about 1″ out. They clamp firmly over my ears and actually keep my hard hat from falling off when i have to look straight up. They don’t cut out as much noise as normal mufflers, but do quiet things down without decreasing situational awareness.I’ve dropped them many times, they are durable.The sound quality is actually surprisingly good. I have these turned on for 12hrs at a time and can listen for an entire shift without needing to charge them. They also charge up very quickly.There are a few minor complaints: They are a noticeable weight. Not excessive, but you know they’re there. I wear a balaclava to keep my face warm, so there is a layer of cloth between the ear cups and my ears. I’ve noticed that if I’m not wearing the balaclava, my ears sweat badly and I have to take off the earmuffs for a while. If the battery does happen to die, you can’t plug them into a power bank and keep listening. They turn off when charging.Overall I’m really happy with these. I’ve charged them a few hundred times and havnt noticed a shortened battery life. If I did happen to break them I’d purchase another pair. I’d absolutly recommend them to anyone looking for Bluetooth headphones that attach to a hard hat.

Multiple uses for great ear protection
It’s difficult to find good hearing protection and comfort at the same time. I do alot of woodworking and noise is always an issue. Without good hearing protection your ears are ringing for days with no idea of long term effects. I always went without because I enjoyed listening to my music while working. Well I finally found a set that does all 3 things on my bucket list. Comfort is essential as wearing them while working you don’t want to keep adjusting. The material around the ears is good. A nice seal but yet not the sweaty feeling after extended use. The adjustment ability is fine very well as there is a nice snug fit with no pinching anywhere. Number 2 is sealing out noise ..I don’t want to be deaf while I am working so I wanted a nice reduced to minimal noise and this pair does just that. I can hear my equipment running while I am working but at the same time the sound from it with them on is just the right decibal ..not too loud and not impossible to hear the power saw or someone talking near by. And finally 3 the radio …I expected distortion I expected to barely hear it and just a gimmicky add on. Not at all , I am in my basement in rural suburbs with my rock station I listen to about 20 miles away and zero issues bringing the station in clear as a bell. So now I can have my music , my comfort and my equipment quieted all together in an ideal setup for me. I have already put them through a good 20 hrs worth of use with no problems at all and best of all the volume is a knob not a tiny button so raising and lowering is super easy. If you do wood work ..yard work or anywhere you need a bit of ear protection give these a whirl you won’t be disappointed

Does have USB C
There are a lot of identical hard hat bluetooth headphones for sale on Amazon but most seem to have usb micro. I can confirm these do use USB C. The sound quality isn’t very good but better than not having any music at all and also probably safer than using bluetooth earbuds from a safe hearing perpective. On my android phone it also shows the battery percentage too, which is helpful.

Awful quality
Sending them back. Never actually tried them while mowing- as soon as I realized they need batteries for everything it seems, even if not using the radio and connected to cell phone, decided these were not what I anticipated. The sound is extremely tinny and unbearable. Also, my last ear protection headphones, which looked almost identical, worked with my phone / Spotify and audio cable without even needing batteries. This one seems to require batteries regardless. I didnât go with Bluetooth headphones because I didnât want something I had to charge all the time. Needing batteries just to be hooked up to my cell phone is even worse and not what I wanted. Even the plastic material they are made of seems really cheap. So disappointed.

Volume not high enough.
I like to wear ear foams and a helmet cover, as I work clean-up at a Sawmill. Being under the machines, your next to motors and the *BAM* sound of logs plumbing to the ground. But I also want to hear audiobook or podcast. My choice at the time was wear BT ear pieces then a ‘lacking’ helmet ear cover and just be on full volume. Then I saw this and said ” Hey, I can wear ear foams and listen to music too!” However I learned fast that the volume level on these is not loud enough to hear clearly. I can rock to music but cant quite clearly hone into the spearking of streaming audiobooks. I then took at the ear plugs and still not clear enough.Besides the lower volume I like the feel, the weight and the protection of hearing. I did really think I could wear them all day no issues. Still suggest the foam ear plugs additionally if near my level of noise but for Fork lift driving, lawn care,or some city/mechanical worker it be perfect! Some ear sweat but it’s also summer time and 85 at night in the PNW. If I could just get 10-15 more decimals from the volume speaker I can give 5 stars in the future.

I use electronic hearing protection while engaging in shooting so why not while working on and around large locomotives Nice to have hearing protection you can count on along with your favorite music,or podcast. Good battery life, easy to use, easy to adjust,and durability. I’m glad I found these.

The sound quality of the music isnât phenomenal, but could definitely be worse. They do provide hearing protection when used on the correct type of hardhat, contrary to what some of the other reviews are saying.

Stopped working after 2nd time turning on.Now when you turn on all it says is 88888. Buttons do not work no matter what you push!!!!Tried unplugging batteries a few times and turning back on to look at 8888.

Qualité audio exécrable, je ne m’attendais pas à avoir des écouteurs de très bonne qualité mais la ses tres décevant. De plus il on été conçu pour une tête immense, elle son trop basse et trop décoller, ce qui fait qu’il ne protège pas correctement contre les bruits extérieurs excessif.
