Great Product and Fast Shipping
I recently just had shoulder surgery and my doctor recommend I get some stretch bands for rehabilitation. I needed a set that had multiple levels for my rehab process. I decided to try Black Mountain Products stretch bands, as the company seemed to have good products and customer service. It has been a little over a month since the purchase, and I am glad I made this choice! The set comes with three strengths from light-blue, medium-green, heavy-yellow, a door anchor, a nice bag, and a brochure to get your started. I have only used the blue and green bands so far, and working my way up to yellow. The strengths are nicely evened out, making the rehab process easier. The bands have held up with continuous use as even my wife uses them on occasion. I highly recommend these bands and have even brought them in to show my doctor the quality and how I have been using them.

Good workout
Gym at home is what they claim and it’s better than one for me. I’d pay the dues and then never feel like making the drive to use what I paid for. Paid for these once and if you combine the bands you can get all kinds of resistance from easy to ouch, that was difficult. I’ve had them for 6 weeks and love ’em. I also have the cords and, truthfully, when they are stretched out clipped on to the wall with all that hardware staring you in the eye, knowing where it’s going to hit if any part of the system fails, I feel much safer with the bands. If you are trying to choose between the two, they are both excellent and probably won’t fail you. Just saying, if the hook I screwed into the stud (I hope I hit the stud) comes out, you are going to get hurt badly if you are pulling on the black cord at full length. Like I said, both systems are excellent.

Yellow is damaged while posing a potential safety risk. Green and Blue bands are good.
Blue and Green band had no defects and work well. However, the yellow band came with a hole and a small rip to one side about 1/3 along the band. This defect will stretch with prolonged use which would poses as a safety risk since I have no idea if it might rip over time. Needless to say, the yellow band is useless to me at this point.There was also an oder associated with the green and blue band which went away when I left them out overnight. The green band appeared to have some sort of “oil” on it when first opened, but it is no longer present.Overall I am happy with the Green and Blue band, the yellow is useless while posing a safety risk. I’ll try and post a picture of the yellow band.

It’s all about convenience
Somehow this whole exercise band movement eluded me. I wanted to get in some resistance exercise, ran across this and got it. An the “con” side the paperwork that came with them showed few exercises but a You Tube search of “resistance band exercises” yielded everything from Pilates to strengthening separate parts of the foot. You can work ANY body part with these. The door anchor works very well without damaging the door. No gym is necessary and all the nonsense that goes with gyms. I can work out when it’s convenient for me and watch TV while I do so. Lots of exercise equipment “works” if used but if it is inconvenient and has to be dragged out and set up it won’t get used. This is a little bitty bag I can store anywhere. I can insert the door anchor in seconds for those moves that require it and I’m off and working out. After only a week I can’t speak to how long they’ll last. A bit of searching revealed bands that come in 7 colors for 7 different resistances available in 6 yard lengths to be cut as one wishes. So when they break or should I require more resistance I can easily satisfy that need. The Black Mountain set is priced right and great to start with.

Great shoulder therapy
I hurt my shoulder reaching back to close the rear sliding window on my truck one day. My doctor recommend therapy and after a little research I found that resistance bands were the best solution so I purchased these bands. I am very happy with the quality and length. I’m 5’11” and the length is perfect for all of the recommended exercises. I like having the 3 resistance levels so that you can work up to the stronger bands over time.Now that my shoulder is better, I am using the bands for general exercise routines. I would definitely recommend them.

Good, basic set!
I like that the bands came in the bag, which I actually use when I take them with me during traveling. I am a moderate excersizer. Not a novice, but not a body builder either. The yellow band was way too thin/easy and never gets used. I usually use the thickest band (green), but the blue one also works in a pinch. This is an excellent set for a person who is just beginning to work out, or just needs a basic set of bands. Have used them over a year with no problems and no tears or snapping.

I ordered this product because I’d sprained an ankle playing basketball and wanted to try the METH method of rehab (do yourself a favor and look this up) because I needed to be on my feet for a race about 5 days later. The bands seem to be of high quality and only have a very faint rubbery smell (none of these products are truly 100% odor free, whatever you read, but some are definitely more tolerable than others, and this one is great).Unfortunately, when the product arrived, it came without the carrying bag. Fortunately, I emailed the shipper and they sent another one by post totally free of charge, no questions asked.Really satisfied, and I would strongly recommend this product and this supplier.

I really only use the green and blue band; the yellow band must be for babies as it has very minimal resistance lol. Very pleased with the other bands though. I use them regularly and it’s easy to take them with you if you’re travelling anywhere. I purchased these for around 18 before tax so I see the price has gone up significantly. See if you can find a better deal or wait for these to come down in price. Solid product. Would buy again.

The bands work well. The fabric for the door block needs to be made better/thicker as it slipped through the crack in the door and hit me. I had to modify the door block, you guys should fix that.
