Works great on 6 AWG and smaller crimp connectors, breakage due to over tightening?
Works great on 6 AWG and smaller crimp connectors. Is it possible breakage on similar modest cost hydraulic crimpers are due to over tightening? I can see pumping just a fraction of a stroke after crimp dies come together, so we will update if any cracks develop using the tool this way. Largest we forsee are 115A in connectors which use #2 AWG wire.Our only issue was the short one page front & back manual gave die sizes that seemed one size too big for every one of our connectors.

Great tool if perfect looking crimping are not important.
Does exactly what I need the tool to do. The jaws do not line up exactly straight so the crimping are not the prettiest crimping in the world; but for my purpose of buying this tool I didn’t need perfection, just need the crimping to hold. Honestly a really cool and useftool.

Failed to develop pressure after about 5 hours use. Just junk. Spend a little more for something better. I got what I paid forâ¦. A useless lump of metalâ¦.

Works but is unorganized
Works for what I need. Only issue is the cheap case it comes with makes it impossible to keep organized. There are tons of dies included but no spaces to store them in the case- it gets messy fast.

Make yourself some winch cables
This definitely is in the tool you want to use if you’re a professional making tons and tons of cables, but this jet job dumb when I was redoing my winch wiring larger gage wire to help with the heat and draw on the system as a whole. I have a 2001 Jeep Cherokee that I use quite often, and recently this summer I had the help pull a buddy out of a hole in the beach, and my winch cables weren’t happy.This tool let me make seven new cables in total and had the different die sizes I needed, though it’s definitely a manual process and you’ll get tired of it quickly. The case is in the best, but I wasn’t expecting it to be at this price point, at least a tool and the attachments are stored together so they don’t get lost.
