Customers say

Customers find the security camera’s picture quality excellent, with one noting it’s clear enough to recognize faces during daytime. The device is easy to set up and offers good value for money. The connectivity and motion detection features receive mixed feedback – while some praise the amazing connection and quick, accurate alerts, others report frequent connection issues and subpar motion detection performance.

    Great product!
Used the trial and it was nice to go back and look at previous videos, but we don’t need the subscription.Easy to set up and use. Minimal lag. We didn’t need to mount this, just use on the tv stand. Gives nice coverage for where our dogs sleep during the day, so checking in on them is easy. I’ve even used it to alert me when my hubby comes home at lunch to let the dogs out. I can pop on and say hi! Audio and camera quality are decent. Has a light, but it works well in lower light if needed.

    Surprisingly good quality and cost-effectiveness
I installed this in our basement a week ago, and I really like it.- Easy to Install- Good image quality- Very effective motion detectionOverall, a very cost-effective measure, and when the trial period is up, the cost of the subscription is about half of what is demanded by a well-known competitor.

    easy to use
The Blink camera has been a great addition to my home security setup. Setup was quick and easy, and the app makes it simple to monitor everything from my phone. The video quality is clear both day and night, and motion alerts are reliable without being overwhelming. Battery life is impressive, and the compact design blends in nicely. Overall, it’s affordable, effective, and gives me peace of mind.

Solid budget cams with color night view; subscription ups the best features
Purchase context: Bought the 2‑pack (White) to monitor an entryway and a living area, with occasional use as a doorbell chime. Wanted simple setup, reliable motion alerts, and color night view without spending a lot.Unboxing/setup: Two plug‑in Mini 2 cameras, stands/mounts, USB cables, and power adapters. App-guided setup took about 5 minutes per camera. Mounts are small and easy to aim; cable length is fine for typical outlets.Specs verified:Resolution: 1080p HDNight view: Color when the built‑in spotlight is on; IR black‑and‑white otherwiseField of view: Wider than the previous Mini (noticeably covers more of the room)Audio: Two‑way talk; mic picks up normal conversation distanceAlerts: Motion detection; person alerts require subscriptionPower/use: Plug‑in only; outdoor use needs the Blink Weather‑Resistant Power Adapter (sold separately)Storage: Cloud with subscription (30‑day trial), or local with Sync Module 2 + USB or Sync Module XR + microSD (sold separately)Integrations: Works with Alexa (arm/disarm, live view, doorbell chime)Performance & testing:Video: Daytime image is clear enough to recognize faces and read large labels across a room. Color night view with the spotlight is a real upgrade for identifying clothing colors/objects in low light; without the spotlight, IR is usable but less detailed.Motion alerts: Reliable for general movement; activity zones help cut down on false alerts. Person detection is better, but it’s locked behind the subscription.Audio: Two‑way talk is clear for quick “package drop” chats; there’s the usual slight lag typical of cloud cams, but it’s workable.App: Simple, stable, and quick to review motion clips. Continuous live view up to 90 minutes requires the subscription; otherwise sessions time out sooner.Comparisons: Versus pricier Ring/Google indoor cams, Mini 2 is more affordable but depends more on add‑ons (subscription for advanced alerts/longer live view; extra hardware for local storage and outdoor use). Compared to the original Blink Mini, the Mini 2’s color night view and wider FOV are noticeable improvements.Durability/maintenance: No issues after weeks of daily use. Being plug‑in, there’s no battery to maintain. For outdoor placement you’ll need the weather‑resistant adapter and a sheltered mount point.Who it’s for:Budget‑minded users who want simple, reliable indoor monitoring with decent 1080p and color night viewAlexa households that want voice control or a plug‑in doorbell chimeWho should skip:Users who don’t want subscriptions but need person alerts and extended live viewThose wanting true outdoor cams without buying extra adapters, or higher‑bitrate/2K+ videoTips to get the best results:Place the camera slightly off‑axis from windows/lights to reduce glare; use the built‑in spotlight sparingly at night to get color without overexposing close objectsSet activity zones and sensitivity early to cut false alerts from TVs/ceiling fansIf you’re subscription‑averse, plan on buying a Sync Module 2/XR and USB/microSD for local backupsPros:Affordable 1080p with a wider FOV and effective color night view via spotlightQuick, straightforward setup; stable appUseful Alexa integration; can act as a doorbell chimeOption for local storage (with Sync Module) if you don’t want cloudCons:Best features (person alerts, 90‑min live view) require a subscriptionPlug‑in only; outdoor use needs a separate weather‑resistant power adapterAudio/video quality is good for the price but not class‑leadingBottom line: A dependable, budget‑friendly indoor cam with meaningful upgrades (color night view, wider view). It “does the job” well, but you’ll get the most out of it with the subscription or a Sync Module for local storage.

Excellent camera for the price ideal for indoors
I bought the Blink Mini 2 to monitor the interior of my home, and it has completely exceeded my expectations. The image quality is very good, both day and night, thanks to its clear night vision. Setup was quick and easy: I was set up with the app in less than 10 minutes.I love that it has motion detection with real-time notifications, and the two-way audio works perfectly for communicating with my family (and even my dog!). I also appreciate that it now includes local storage with the Sync Module 2.Due to its compact size, it can be placed anywhere without attracting attention. In short, it’s an excellent option if you’re looking for an affordable, reliable, and easy-to-use camera. Highly recommended!

    Great little Blink camers
This little Blink camera works great! I purchased it for our guest room because when our grown kids visit with the new baby they need to see baby while sleeping and we are in another room. This allows them to feel good about visiting and knowing they can keep an eye on baby. Video quality is great, even at night in the dark room. Notifications are easily set up and the design of it is good as it is small and can be attached or free standing. I did get a low cost subscription so we can use it any time or anywhere.

Fantastic little camera with a super useful chime feature!
I bought two of these cameras and I’m really impressed with how versatile they are. One is set up in the living room, paired with my Blink Doorbell, and it acts as a chime. This is honestly my favorite feature, it works perfectly and makes sure I never miss someone at the door. It also doubles as a security camera when I’m not home, so it pulls double duty without taking up much space. The second one I installed in the garage for general surveillance. I often work on my bike out there, and sometimes I don’t hear the doorbell when deliveries arrive or friends stop by. Now the garage camera chimes when someone presses the doorbell, which is incredibly convenient. I love that both cameras serve as reliable chimes and functional security cameras. As a camera, the Blink Mini 2 performs really well for the price. The picture is clear, the field of view is wide, and the compact design makes it barely noticeable. Overall, I’m really happy with these and would definitely recommend them if you’re already in the Blink ecosystem or looking for affordable indoor cameras with bonus features.

    Great quality!
I would give it five stars if there was a way to increase sound output (when I’m speaking through it to the person in the room that the camera is in) and I could hear the person in the room. The video quality, night vision and detection is excellent! Great value for so inexpensive.
