Better than I thought!
I was replacing a 25-year-old set of nice Bose speakers with woofer, had a short in the volume/bass control fob, but they worked well and sounded very good, the short was in the range I listened to, so I needed to change. I didn’t want to spend a lot, under $80 and wasn’t expecting too much, but was surprised at what you can get for that price, so I looked at a lot of them, read many, many reviews and narrowed it down to three, and then I saw the BlueAnt Sound Blade and looked just for fun because they list for $200, but the price on this new one was, in my mind, unbeatable, less than half at 55% off and had much more power and decent reviews so I bought it. I have to say I really like it. I am not a sound expert, nor do I have the best equipment, but between the price, speedy delivery, the look, the ease of use, and the over-all sound and options, I really like it. It improved my entire system and enjoyment of streaming movies. Everything can always be bigger and better, but this unit fits my wants/needs very well, plenty of clear nice sound with enough bass at the right times, and the dialogue is very sharp. I couldn’t beat the price, and I am very glad I bought this one and the extended warranty.

Super impressed
Internet reviews should always be taken with a grain of salt, but internet reviews for anything audio related should DEFINITELY be taken with a grain of salt. For some reason, reviews for speakers and headphones are all from niche, picky, and rare audiophiles that the average person cannot relate to at all.I say all that to say that a lot of reviews for this (from those people) will have you doubting it’s worth it. I come to tell you that it is.This is SUCH a nice sound bar. I got a brand new 49″ Samsung OLED Ultrawide monitor for gaming and productivity and needed a nice speaker to go with it (that wouldn’t break the bank or be too big/bulky). This is perfect and I’m so, so happy. It’s worth stating the obvious which is – for the average person, this sounds GREAT. Really good bass, full sound, gets VERY loud if you need it to. I love that it connects via aux, USB-C, and/or Bluetooth. The remote is easy to use. The Bluetooth pair works quickly and easily. It’s also worth pointing out that this came in some of the nicest packaging I’ve ever seen. The speaker itself came securely packaged in a box and was in what was almost like a dustbag. It came with all the cords you would need PLUS comes with additional legs in case you want to raise the speaker up a little bit.All in all, my recommendation is that on sale, this is absolutely worth it. It’s a good sounding, sleek looking, well packaged speaker.

Good but not great
The soundblade is way wider than I anticipated so it made placing it under my monitors a bit more difficult than Iâd like. The usb-c cord provided is really short so placing it under my desk wasnât an option (I could just buy a longer cord but eh).Thereâs also no software for it; I expected there to be so I could tweak the equalizer how I wanted and download whatever updates they make. The three buttons for eq on the remote are pretty useless and the speaker talks to you whenever you turn it on/off or change modes. Slightly annoying.Updating the firmware also requires you to have a FAT-32 usb-c (hard to find) thatâs not provided and you have to send a request on their website to receive the file which is extremely odd and off putting. There is an update for turning the voice off/down, but I gotta find a 32gb usb-c drive first. With all that said, it does produce some great sound if youâre able to tune the eq in whatever software youâre using for audio but for something like YouTube where you canât do that, it sounds pretty mid. The bass is pretty good for the price point and despite all my grievances, Iâm glad I got it.

Two speakers; no more!
One year of ownership: this speaker has greatly improved my office experience! Gone are the days of having two speakers and needing an audio engineering degree just to wire them together. I love that it isn’t really a sound bar yet still gives the surround sound speaker-level experience. The BlueAnt Soundblade comes packaged very well, it looks great, and functions perfectly! Setup was extremely easy and it just hooks up to your computer with a USB-C to A cableâwhich I’ll admit is a bit short in length. My only other gripe is that the touch tap for volume is a bit annoying, but never frustrating.I would buy this at the current price of $94-105 in a heartbeat! I’m very pleased with the value, even at $200. You aren’t getting the same quality of life experience with desktop speakers until the $350+ price range.

Great sound, great design
Sound quality is an 8/10. For a desktop speaker with a sub, in this price range itâs very good value. The convenience of the shape and that it can sit under the monitor is fantastic. The design is very cool and it has some cool features like when you turn it on it plays a didgeridoo sound. It can go very loud, more than sufficient for a PC desktop speaker. Sound quality is good at higher volumes also. Great for games and movies, both have their own setting if you want to use those. (I just leave it in the bass heavy one)Negatives:Audiophiles are probably not the target market even through the sound is great, its not going to compare with pro studio monitors but itâs not supposed to.When you turn it on or off, or change the input a voice plays VERY loudly and you canât turn it down. Usually not a problem unless you have a kid sleeping in the next room or something and using it late at night. I have reached out to the company and they have taken note of the feedback, they did respond very quickly so 10/10 for customer service.Overall this is a great product to replace your monitors speakers or if you donât have any but want better than normal quality and tons of volume.I usually just leave it on to avoid the loud voice and it does its job very well. Great product and great company, Iâm glad to be supporting them. The picture shows it sitting nicely under my 32inch monitor.

Great looking speaker, sound is good but not great. You canât alter the base or treble on it. Worse thing is the price! It is massively overpriced as it is Plastic, picâs make it look much better than it really is. If youâre in the UK you will need to buy a USA – UK adapter plug as you donât even get a proper UK lead. 5/10 at its best.
