Easy to use. Works well. The air is cleaner and chemical smell is gone
Iâm a home owner in the middle of a construction project. The dust from the demo and dry wall sanding, cutting etc was making me cough and giving me some shortness of breath. I was also getting upset about the chemical smells in the house from paint primer, glues, etc. So I decided to try this unit. At the time of purchase I decided to also buy more of the regular filters (i think they are called B filters) , and some of the carbon filters, because apparently the carbon filters remove chemicals and chemical smells from the air. So all in all I spent like $900-$1000. My feeling is that if a $1000 investment keeps my lungs and my mitochondria healthier, Iâm 100% in! So the first thing I noticed was you just plug in and turn on. Itâs really that easy. But like I said, I did buy the carbon filters so I installed that, and when I say install I mean just place inside and shut the door. Again, very easy! I put the machine on full speed, left the house for several hours and when I came home the air was 100% cleaner and a huge percentage of the smell in the air was gone. I plan to run this in my house non stop until the entire construction project is done. I wish I had bought it earlier because it does not pick up all the dust that is already settled. It only picks up dust that is floating through the air. If I had installed it earlier it would have prevented a lot of this mess!

Great machine ,b air filters work with unit.Unsure where to get factory ones. (Response would be nice bluair)So far used as a negative air and as an air scrubber on different jobs.Seals seem to clamp well, dont have aparticle counter to testEasy enough to clean, plastic does have some complex shapes and sharp corners , disposable damp blue cloths do a good job.Just a home owner. Anything that mitigates dust is a huge plus remodeling where a person lives.Can be a bit louder on high setting for scrubbing.Not loud at all on low for negitive airExpensive, my homebrew machine is cheaper and quieter but this one is smaller and lighter (90 vs 40lbs)Dont run a shop vac from plugin the machine, the integrated circuit breaker will pop and needs to be resetCan be used as a hkme purifier, just there is quieter models to choose from.

A great machine worth every penny!
Iâve had this machine for a few days now. First off, it is not that loud, any complaints about it being very loud are ridiculous. I was actually surprised at its noise level because I had been expecting it to be so much louder based on some reviews. People need to remember that this thing can change 550 cubic feet per minute so itâs really moving air! Second off, this machine really does work! Even my wife commented that the air felt cleaner and somehow lighter and fresher after running the machine on full power for about an hour or so. Iâd never used one of these hepa air scrubbers before we bought this but it has definitely lived up and exceeded expectations and my hopes. I highly recommend it. And whatâs nice is it is fully compatible with B-air brand filters so finding filters that fit isnât difficult at all.

Industrial HEPA filtration
Used for some drywall, woodworking, sanding projects then got positive, ran it 24/7 and no one else in the household got it so I’d say that it worked well. As others said the prefilters are obnoxiously sized and the clamps to hold them are stiff.

Worth EVERY penny ! Better than competitor
We bought this to use during a huge demolition project in which 3900 sq feet were taken down to the studs, all insulation, flooring and pretty much anything else we could get our hands on was removed. We recently had a flood in our home and the restoration company had brought in this units much more expensive competitor and left them behind for us to use for awhile, after they picked them up we decided we were so impressed wth how well they worked that we needed one to buy for our upcoming much larger project, however we weren’t impressed with the competitors pricing- so I found this product and couldn’t be happier! It works just as well as the other one and is actually a fair bit quieter than the other ones- it’s still noisy but at a more tolerable level. It’s actually much less expensive to buy this unit than to rent one even for just a few weeks!!This past weekend we removed all the insulation from our ceilings. We have a relatively flat roof which we found out while removing the insulation that it had at one point been a tar and gravel roof now replaced with a membrane roof, however you can imagine the amount of dust, stones, mold and whatever else was up there since the 50’s -pretty much the most disgusting insulation you’ve ever seen. When we were taking it down you couldn’t see across the room – the air was literally black. So we we finished our job, picked up all the insulation and left the air scrubber running. 20 minutes later we returned and the air was totally clear!!! ( we still had to wear masks but the difference was incredible and saved us a ton of cleaning!) We vacuumed off the unit and opened up the hepa filter and vacuumed that off as well and were able to keep working rest of the day- without this machine the dirt and dust in the air would have lingered for many many hours!Couldn’t be happier with this machine!

Well-built machine. I use it as a remodeler and the HEPA filters last me 300-400 hours. I use a 16x16x1 furnace filter for the prefilter.

Fantastic
This machine actually works. It makes my air purifiers look like a waste of money. This machine actually took the mold out of my room, both in the air and on the surfaces of my room which an air purifier simply would not do. I am so happy. I bought this machine as I suffered, terribly from mold infestation.

Bought this air scrubber to use during extensive basement renos. Help tremendously with sawdust and when sanding. A bit pricey but all worth it if you have allergies and don’t want to be dusting for the rest of your life. You can also rent locally but would cost as much for several months rental and also considerthe hassle of picking up and returning it. Try to get filters at a local store for much less. If ordering from Amazon make sure to get them on time of your project especially during this covid time as machine is useless without the filters.
