Fantastic Security Camera â Highly Recommended!
Iâve been using this security camera for a few days now, but Iâm seriously impressed. I spent a lot of money on a different name brand doorbell that constantly quick working. This was half the price and I love that you can charge it. The video quality is outstandingâclear and sharp during the day, and the night vision works surprisingly well in low light. Setup was super easy, even for someone who isnât very tech-savvy.I really appreciate the real-time motion alerts and the ability to view live footage from my phone no matter where I am. It gives me peace of mind knowing I can keep an eye on my home at all times. The two-way audio is also a great featureâit came in handy when I needed to talk to a delivery person while I wasnât home.Overall, this camera is reliable, easy to use, and packed with features youâd expect in more expensive models. Definitely worth every penny!

Motion detection BEFORE the doorbell is rung!
My house has (had) one of the whole house intercoms that included a doorbell. The system quit working some time ago, and the exterior speaker dry-rotted. I tried an inexpensive (chime only) doorbell, but it worked inconsistently due to the range to the receiver.I had a couple of other BOIFUN cameras, so I decided to try their doorbell camera. Physical installation is easy. They give you both screws and adhesive strips to use. I chose to not drill holes in my siding, so I used siding clips and a piece of wood (to be painted). I mounted the doorbell base to the wood with screws and snapped in the doorbell . This also lets me move the camera around, if I am not happy with the location.BOIFUN says you can use either their app or the CloudEdge app. I used the BOIFUN app. Activation and pairing of the doorbell and connection to the wifi network is a breeze. The instructions are pretty clear and there are plenty of color indicators and sounds to let you know you are successful for a given step.The performance is great! My door is about 30 feet from the road, so I was concerned about false triggers with passing cars or bike riders. However I reduced the sensitivity and I do not get any false notifications. The picture quality is very, very good. The app let me customize the zone where I want motion detection notification and video capture. I like that I get imagery of motion detection AND when the doorbell is pressed. Delivery people and others trip the motion detection but may not ring the bell. There is even a small remote speaker that you can place on a shelf that chimes (you can choose from a list of sounds/tunes) when the doorbell is pressed. When the doorbell is pressed, I get a notification on my phone. I can âanswerâ the notification and have a conversation with the person, or I can have a pre-recorded voicemail be played. I can also decide to reject the request and not respond. Iâve attached a few photos and a video from testing. The doorbell even has night vision!Sharing access to the doorbell and the recorded images is super easy. BOIFUN lets you add someone else by entering their account, or scanning a QR code. Each person is required to download the app and create an account. Rather than add a camera to their account, there is a QR code in the app on their phone that I ( as âadministrator/ownerâ) scan using my BOIFUN app. This creates the link and allows sharing. This can be just viewing, or full access and control for family or friends.Certainly based on my old system, this is a HUGE improvement. I now have a working doorbell â range is no longer an issue since it uses wifi to send notifications to my phone. AND I get photo/video (great quality) of the encounter. Given the customization of the app, I cannot imagine a situation where you couldnât make it work. When I bought mine, there was a discount, which made the price more attractive.

Good product and reasonably priced with no required subscription
So far I’m please with the doorbell. Pictures are clear and motions are detected and recorded. Installation was easy to follow except for one issue. You are to use the doorbell camera to take a picture of a QR code that is supposed to be shown at the bottom of the phone page. (It’s at the top of the page). Also a confirmation noise was to be made when the QR code was successfully scanned. There was no such sound. I wish some instructions were provided on how to use the app. It’s not self explanatory and takes a lot of guess and try. I’m concerned the battery life may not be as advertised, but time will tell. I will update this review after I’ve had it for more time.

This microSD card video doorbell might be the best one out there!
Awesome product and awesome price! I replaced my Ring doorbell due to concerns privacy. I wanted a video doorbell that did not require cloud storage, and this one with a 128GB microSD card (purchased separately) was the perfect choice. Set up and installation was a breeze, but I think the instructions could have been clearer or ordered differently so that the description of how to remove the mounting plate was the first thing presented. Sharing the doorbell for alerts with other family members was easy. All the have to do is install the app, create an account (don’t set up any devices), then you scan their QR code (they get it in the app) in the app and it invites them to share. Easy to add and share additional cameras, and you can choose which cameras to share to whom. Also the included chime can be paired with multiple Boifun doorbells or multiple chimes can be paired to a single or multiple doorbells. Neat feature. Motion detection works great and is fast to alert you, and I haven’t gotten any false alerts. You will get motion notification before the person rings the bell which is great. The picture quality is noticeably better than my Ring doorbell. The security voice changing feature is nice and also amusing. I can’t recommend this highly enough. I like this so much I bought the J7 doorbell with the super wide angle lens as well!

Highly Recommended – Store video on micro sd card (not included)
This is an amazing “affordable” doorbell camera. After reading the reviews, I added a 128gb micro sd card to my order so I get a huge storage capacity. It was easy to install (and in the App there is a “Format” button you must click before it will store any data). This is a great option if you dont want to pay for a monthly service. Once you hook up to the 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi the camera works amazing and the picture quality is incredible. Love that it has a chime as well when they ring the bell ðThe camera is high quality, and has a good night vision mode. The app let me customize the zone where I want motion detection notifications and video capture.

I received my BOIFUN doorbell camera in very good condition. After reading the instructions, I found setup easy and straightforward. The image quality is excellent, the colors are good, and everything works perfectly. The app is very easy to use. I’m very happy with the unit and the price.

Jâai été agréablement surpris par la qualité de cette sonnette. Lâinstallation a été un jeu dâenfant, tout est très bien expliqué et les accessoires fournis facilitent vraiment la mise en place. La connexion Wi-Fi est stable, même avec ma box placée un peu loin, et je nâai quasiment aucun décalage dâimage ou de son.Lâimage en 2K est ultra nette et la détection humaine PIR est très précise. Jâaime aussi beaucoup lâaudio bidirectionnel, très clair, ce qui me permet dâéchanger avec les livreurs même quand je ne suis pas chez moi.En plus, elle est résistante à la pluie (testée et approuvée avec les dernières intempéries ð ). Franchement, pour ce prix-là , je ne mâattendais pas à une telle qualité. Je recommande les yeux fermés !

We read the reviews for this item and were generally impressed, especially given the price. We have had the item for over a week now and it’s been working perfectly. The camera quality is good; including at night. On the motion detector, we have reduced the sensitivity – as we live on a main road with regular footfall. But I’d rather know when someone is near/passing the front of my house than not if that makes sense so, we are not so bothered by the frequent detections. No need for a subscription. Planning to get a SD card to be able to store footage.The set up was super simple. Everything you’ll need is provided. We used the tape strips provided to attach the doorbell to the PVC frame of our front porch door. We have also tried the intercom function which worked well. Clear sound and communication. So far, the battery seems to hold a good charge. We charge the item once on arrival – it was at 60/70% charge when it arrived – so good to use immediately (if you want). I charged to 100% and, after a week or so of being is use, it’s still got around 80% charge.At this price and overall quality of the item, I am not sure what there is not to like about this item and rate it 5 stars.Thank you

Ho acquistato questo videocitofono per sostituirne uno di altra marca che mi ha sempre dato problemi… Appena arrivato ed aperto la confezione ho subito notato la differenza, sia nei materiali che appena montato nella qualità del video e delle svariate funzioni dell’app… Avevo bisogno di essere rintracciato sia quando sono nella Depandance, ma principalmente quando sono in giro per lavoro… Ottima la funzione di notifica quando rileva una persona nelle vicinanze… La confezione contiene, oltre al videocitofono ricaricabile, il ricevitore con le batterie sostituibili mini stilo, da posizionare all’interno con varie suonerie e la regolazione del volume. La configurazione con il telefono è molto semplice, seguendo le istruzioni allegate e scaricando l’app dedicata. L’app ben fatta con la possibilità di varie regolazioni sia della qualità del video e dei tempi di registrazione che delle notifiche e quant’altro… Consigliato già a parenti ed amici visto l’ottimo rapporto qualità e prezzo… Lo consiglio anche Voi !!!

Ho acquistato quasto prodotto a 60⬠usufruendo di un coupon. Avevo bisogno di essere rintracciabile quando sono nella taverna/laboratorio, non potendo installarne uno a fili. Ne sono rimasto molto sorpreso perchè pensavo fosse un “semplice” videocitofono ed in vece è molto di più, dato che ha la funzione di allarme quando rileva una persona nelle vicinanze.La confezione contiene, oltre al videocitofono, il campanello da posizionare all’interno, un kit per il montaggio a muro (due tasselli con viti) e a pareti lisce (due biadesivi) e, non da poco, le batterie ministilo (AAA) per il campanello.La configurazione con lo smartphone è molto semplice, seguendo passo passo le istruzioni. E’ raccomandato che lo smartphone sia collegato al WiFi sulla rete a 2,4 GHz. Sulle prime mi dava messaggio che la zona scelta per piazzare il dispositivo non era idonea per mancanza di segnale, cosa che poteva essere possibile, dato lo spessore del muro esterno in pietra, ma dopo che ha fatto in automatico un aggiornamento del firmware è andato tutto a posto. Dapprima ho usato l’app Boifun cam, poi ho installato ClodEdge. Il rilevamento persona è efficientissimo, dopo pochissimo arriva la notifica sul telefono, anche se lontani da casa e connessi alla rete dati, una cosa molto utile. Fuzionamento del videocitofono ottimo, immagini nitide e audio di buon livello. Ho allegato la foto del dispositivo installato a muro ed un video dove ha “beccato” il postino che metteva una lettera in cassetta. I video sono registrabili su Micro Sd (che io avevo ed ho installato) oppure su Cloud in abbonamento. L’App consente molte regolazioni, sulla qualità immagine e la durata della registrazione video.
