They do the trick!
These are pretty cost effective seed starters. The trays have a total of 60 slots that let you start a bunch of plants, The grow lights work and are all combined into one USB cable, so you only need one USB power port to operate all the lights. The tops donât lock on, but they arenât meant to.I had my seeds germinating in about 2-3 days after putting them in this with some starter soil.The trays arenât very thick so you want to be gentle on them to make them last for several uses, but with good care there is no reason they wouldnât last. Overall, great set at a great price!

Good started trays
These trays are great for starting seedlings indoors. The plastic is hard and sturdy and the top seals nicely around the base of the unit. I used them to start multiple sets of seedling and I was not disappointed. The light was easy to install in the lid and the unit overall is relatively stable. My only complaint, is that the lids will come off will you bump or move the unit next to it (so be careful, especially, if your seedlings are tall, it may snap). Otherwise, this is a good product and worth the money. I only wish the lids were taller.

Great for my needs
These seed starters work pretty well. I did not use the lights that come with it because I have Southern sun exposure in my window. I like the covers that go on top while they’re first starting. I do wish they were a little taller though. Glad they came in a pack. They are supposed to be reusable but the inner tray is a little bit thin. They’d be perfect if they were a little sturdier.I’ve put my seedlings in the ground, and washed the trays. Will see how they look next season.

Plants are hard to remove
The seeds germinate, but when they get tall they have to be removed, the soil doesnât stay around the roots and it is hard to remove the plants.

Strong and perfect size
So perfect for starting seeds. Easy to plant and keep seedling wet by watering the tray. I will be able to reuse them next year. The size made it easy to move even when filled with dirt and water so I could rotate my plants under the lights. Nice and strong compared to the box store ones.

It is delicate so it needs to be left alone, limiting how much it is fiddled withâit is all thin plastic!No need to read the directions because it is such an intuitive gadget it just makes sense!Every once and awhile, I discover a new product that is the coolest thing since the invention of sliced bread. This product is one of them.The size, alone, being compact, allows me to easily grow seeds in a small area inside my house. The wiring also gives flexibility to how I organize the mini greenhouses because the wiring is long enough to reach small distances without the greenouses needing to sit tightly next to each other.Love this product. I would spend a few more dollars on this type of device if it were sturdier plastic. I still believe I will get multiple uses from it. I plan to be gentle with it as I pull out my plants….

What I like of these is the clear plant trays. It allows to see the root system which helped me decide when to transplant the plants in larger pots. I have found that once the root system is well developed, the plant and soil can be easily removed in one “chunk” by gently squeezing the sides, then pushing a little on the bottom and pulling the plant by the stem (so the roots are not disturbed). When used this way, I expect these trays to be reusable many times.

I love these things, so convenient for starting seeds. Thankful I read the comment so I was prepared it is smaller then you think, but for starting seeds it’s the right size. The fork took they provide made it a piece of cake to get plants out. I even used it for moving other plants and it’s amazing for not damaging the delicate stems and planting. Keeps moisture in nicely. Honestly I have nothing negative to say about these
