Perfect sound. Decent ANC. Top notch build.
Coming from a musical background, sound quality is my biggest weighted factor when evaluating headphones. These are above any others I’ve tried in this price range (Bose QC Ultra, Sony XM6, Apple APM). The app isn’t as feature rich as Sony’s app, but it’s 5-band EQ is all I needed to get the perfect sound (though, it’s honestly near perfect right out of the box!). Sound stage is a tiny bit bass forward, but it doesn’t take anything away from the clear, articulate highs. My tip – boost the mids just a tad in the app and you’ll have a perfect EQ for modern music and everyday listening.Build quality is also important to me. Once you pick these up, then hold a new pair of Sony or Bose for the same price, you can never look back. They feel like plastic toys in comparison. The only other pair of headphones that match the build quality here would be the AirPod Max’s, but I prefer the design and look of these PX7 S3s. A mix of leather, aluminum, and fabric – they look elegant and refined. Heavier than the Sony and Bose, lighter than the Apple. Perfect middle ground in my opinion. Not uncomfortable whatsoever.BIGGEST DRAWBACK, and really my only complaint is the Active Noise Cancellation. It’s just not on the same tier as Apple, Sony, and Bose. They really are the leaders in this category. Does the ANC here suck? Absolutely not. It’s just not the best if you want complete isolation. If this is your biggest weighted criteria when buying new cans, it’s the only time that I would not recommend the PX7 S3s – go with the competition. For me, I have a pair of AirPod Pro 2s that will suffice if I need more ANC.But if you want a solid build, with long battery life, real physical buttons, outstanding sound quality, and a straight forward app that allows you to EQ even further, and if your budget is up to $500 – these are VERY hard to beat.

Great if audio quality is #1 priority, ok ANC, lots of bass
Great detailed sound, decent ANC but not on the level of Sony/Bose/Apple. I find the ANC good enough; I don’t really need the ANC tech that shuts out the entire world – and when I do I have an old pair of Sony xm4 earbuds that do it just fine. You will really only know if the ANC is for you if you try it, but Bowers’ goal was clearly more to create a good listening environment; less to screen out all noise. You’ll hear your music on a plane just fine. You won’t be deaf to the rest of the universe.I refunded a Sony xm6 pair and got these – am very happy. The bigger, deeper earcups are more comfy to me, and while I’ve heard some say the clamping force is excessive, I wanted to voice a contrary opinion and say I actually prefer it – the Sonys rely on gravity and the headband starts irritating the top of my head within 30 minutes; these I could wear all day.In terms of sound, I prefer these to the Apple, Bose and Sony offerings at this price point. I get better clarity, a wider soundstage and generally a more detailed and immersive experience. I’m not a huge spatial audio aficionado, so the present lack of spatial audio and promise of adding it in a future update isn’t really a concern for me, but a good stereo field provides plenty of detail. On classical recordings, I can hear so much detail that I’m catching page turns and chair creaks I’ve never noticed in my favorite recordings. These phones are bass-heavy. If that’s an issue, you’ve been warned. It doesn’t distort or ruin the sound, but it’s powerful. The USB-C, 3.5mm and bluetooth audio connections all work well, though I might recommend a 3rd party USB-C cable if you’re streaming audio from a gaming handheld with vibration – the included cable is firm enough that it transfers vibrations from the console to your ear, meaning you will hear a buzz when your Switch/SteamDeck/etc vibrates.

Best Mid tear headphones in the market
Let me first start off by saying I also bought the Sony WH1000XM6s to compare with these. I thought that I would be keeping both for weeks on end because I was thinking that they both would be close. It only took me one hour to decide. They are both very good headphones, but while the Sony’s focus is on being excellent at noise canceling and okay to good at everything else, the B&W focuses at being excellent at sound and very good at everything else. They are a brilliant pair of headphones. Listening to both on various genres of music made my decision easy. The mics on the Sony’s may just be a little better for calling as well. I’m telling you, once you hear the B&Ws, yo won’t want to keep the Sony’s. They are both very comfortable. The Sony’s look and feel like gas station plastic headphones. They are very light. The B&W are not as light, but light enough and they look and feel like very top tier headphones. I highly recommend this product for those that want something that punches above its weight in build quality, sound, and smoothness in switching between apps. Before I forget, the out of the box sound is very good, but adjusting the eq settings take these things to another level. Don’t feel bad if you bought the Sony’s, just please understand that these are better. I also purchased the Focal Bathys MGs as my high end headphones, and these only lose to them in sound by a little bit. However, these switch between devices extremely smoothly unlike the Focals.

The best sounding wireless headphones so far. I have used PX8 and PX7 S2, but these are miles ahead of them in terms of sound quality, lesser had pressure and call quality. These are truly audiophile headsets.

Just got the PX7 S3 after I compared them to the Sony XM6 side by side as I was planning to get either one of them — and honestly, the PX7 wins for me.• Sound: PX7 is more open, detailed, and spacious with punchy bass, clear vocals, and clean treble. XM6 sounds more congested and cluttered. I also tried the Focal Bathys and Noble Fokus, and the PX7’s sound is not inferior at all — plus they’re way more practical for commuting than those bigger models (Fokus and Bathys).• Comfort: I’m in a humid country, and the XM6 made my ears feel warm and sweaty in just 30mins or less. PX7 stays cooler — I can wear it 1–2 hours without discomfort. Perhaps got to do with the clamping and material used for earcups .• Casing: Even though PX7 isn’t foldable, the case is THINNER than XM6’s and only about 5% bigger overall, so PX7 case is still very portable. (I put them side by side and compare in local store.)• App: 5-band EQ is simple but good enough. Honestly, the default tuning already sounds a better preference than Sony’s to me.• Price: AMAZON has the BEST PRICE in my country, cheaper than other online stores even when they are on sales.✅ Verdict: If you want spacious, detailed sound with thumpy bass, comfort in humid climates, and a portable case, the PX7 S3 is a no-brainer. However if you like a warmer more congested sound , Xm6 should be the one for you.Nothing against Sony in fact my family still have 2 XM4 headphones existing and they are happily using them. All this is more of a personal preference as I was choosing between 2 of them (xm6 or px7 s3).Hope this review helps.
