Surprisingly sturdy and scent resistant
I use these for my cat’s litter and even my mom, who has a very sensitive nose, says they work well for muting the smell. It’s not perfect obviously, but pretty good since we live in Philly and it gets very hot and humid here. It’s also quite durable. Our regional compost also accepts it without any problems.

Keeper
FINALLY it has some give, some stretch. For a bio garbage bag this one is a keeper! You can handle it without it tearing soooo easily!!! Keeper! Especially for the price! Thank : )

They are as advertised.
I used the bags in a medium size kitchen floor flip-top kitchen waste can. I wish that they hadincorporated some way to tie the bag closed.I use the bags in a medium size kitchen floor flip-top kitchen waste can. I wish that the bags hadincorporated some form for bag closure. They just have an open top that require tying a knot in the bag or suing some form of tie-rap.

They hold our garbage nicely.
Too short a timeframe to know if they biodegrade.

Decent bag, just not big enoung for my 3 gal kitchen compost bin
I have a 3 gal round kitchen compost bin; these bags say 4 gal, but it bearly clears my 3-gallon bin. They seem fairly substantial. I’ve only had a few that I had to carry holding the bottom. I only wish they were a tad bit longer. Won’t buy these again.

Don’t like the smell
These are easy to pull apart and a good size for a tall kitchen garbage can, but they smell bad right out of the box, and when they get wet from compost moisture, they tear easily.

bags are fine but be careful with compostable
I learned the hard way that you have to be a bit more careful with compostable bags – nothing hot, nothing liquidy for too long – what I like to do is have a plastic bag liner and then put the compostable over it so if it leaks I’m not totally in trouble but if not, I can just throw away the compostable bag and feel better about the environment!
