Positive update!
UPDATE: Four months later, changing my rating and my tune. I have definitely noticed less hair loss in the last few weeks, as well as more new growth than usual, and no dandruff. I feel a little foolish for rating it after only two weeks initially. Now in favor! I donât even use it every shampoo – maybe 2-3 times a week – and still have maybe half a bottle left! Only a small amount lathers up fine.*********************************************************I used this for a couple of weeks before reviewing. I haven’t noticed any lessening of the amount of hair that is coming out (the reason I tried this product, which implies that this benefit may exist). It’s too soon/hard to tell whether new hair is sprouting. Now, today I see dandruff falling off my head, which I have never had before. This is nice shampoo in terms of the softness of my hair, and avoiding sulfates and parabens is critical for me, but it certainly isn’t worth the price just for those reasons – which I also receive from my other longtime shampoo brand (Giovanni). I will use up the bottle of Briogeo and hope that my conclusions are premature, but I won’t spend 30 bucks on it again.

Game changer!
I have noticed more hair shedding and volume loss over the past few years. This shampoo is a game changer. I have tried every shampoo, potion, lotion, and serum on the market. Some do a great job but leave a film behind making it impossible to go a day or two between washes. Some cause my hair to tangle, look dull and make it so I canât even run my fingers through it. This stuff is great. Smells tremendous. My hair is shiny and smooth and actually feels thicker. I alternate with the continue charcoal scalp scrub shampoo to detox my scalp and it has changed my hair game. This is the first time Iâve bought this product on Amazon and it was the actual sealed product (I have heard horror stories that products were emptied and filled with dupes and this was not the case). I have been using this for a while and I have noticed new hair growth!!

Horrible product.
I’ve been using this product for a couple weeks and have lots so much more hair than I was losing before. I have been struggling with hair loss since having bariatric surgery just over a year ago. My previous shampoo had stopped my hair loss but my hair was lifeless and dull. I switched hoping to get soon life back in my hair. What I did not expect was to lose more and more hair each time I used it. I gave it a couple times thinking it was just a transition thing but I lost more hair each time I used it. I will be contacting the company because it’s a lot of money to spend on something that does the exact opposite of what I bought it for. I’m very disappointed in this product.My hair is very fine so it’s hard to see the extent of the hair loss in my picture but it’s significant.

Density Improvement – Check! For me, Shine – A Miss. Still Worth Trying!
I definitely recommend giving this one a try! I noticed a great improvement in density within the bottle that I purchased, and for that it is effective. However, for my hair, the formula dried/dulled things out, and I missed having a good bit of shine. Because of that reason, I’m going to experiment with a different product – but other reviewers haven’t had this experience, and so it might just work for you!

Nice shampoo
I love this shampoo. I use it for hair growth. I have experienced hair growth since using the product, but I am unsure whether it is due to the shampoo or a correction in the deficiency I had. But, I still like the shampoo. Is effective, cleans well, it cleans the greasiness in my hair, is coming to my dyed hair. My hair looks good and shines. Unfortunately, the price has increased by 50% recently and so I no longer feel I can use the shampoo because I donât think itâs a good value for the money.

I lost a lot of my hair due to a medical condition in recent years, and now that it’s grown back to its normal textures (thanks to hair vitamins), I knew I wasn’t using the right shampoo. In conjunction with Briogeo’s Scalp Revival products to tackle my psoriasis, I use this every time I wash my hair, and I have volume again! It’s a magical shampoo because I’ve never had my natural waves look so good and healthy before. It lathers well and has a nice scent that’s not overpowering (the smell is hard to explain, but their website says it best: “Creamy and fruit-forward, touched with gourmand notes of sandalwood and vanilla, plus a clean cotton finish.”). I stock up on this every time I see a sale!

It’s expensive but you need so little of it, and overall your hair is worth it. I feel my hair has better density and overall texture has improved.
