I bought the AX3000 Wi-Fi range extender not knowing whether this is what I needed. My Dish satellite receiver was dropping Wi-Fi every day and making me sign in whenever I turned to Netflix or Amazon. I set it up with the easy setup procedure on my phone and connected my receiver to the “Wi-Fi”_EXT. It immediately boosted my receiver Wi-Fi signal from 67 to 95-100. Have not had to sign in in the last month. It is in a different room from my router and the signal has to go through two walls and a bookcase. This worked for me. If you have similar problem to mine, I would recommend this product.

Easy to set up and use
I really like how easy they are to set up. It only takes a few minutes and you are done. The signal is strong and it links quickly to the existing wireless network. The only thing that I’d change would be to add a ‘mesh’ mode. Because it’s an extender you have a different SSID than the main wireless network. That prevents your devices from automatically switching to it, even if it’s the strongest signal. Other than that one thing, I have no problem with the extender. It’s a great product.

Drops wireless frequently on Amazon Silk connections to Amazon Stick (newer)
Amazon Silk is a finicky and unstable streamer. Trying to get the best signal to the Stick was why I bought this to extend wifi6 from a wifi6 router. The object Stick is 6 feet away from the extender, but still–one or the other or both are not cooperating to keep the wireless signal steady to the screen. Got to be an answer, but resetting everything, cleaning out the Stick, etc, does nothing. Its a hassle to keep recycling the signal, but its free, so I’ll keep doing it. Tried direct ethernet connection to extender, made little to no improvement with upgraded 2000hz ethernet cable. Ran old 50′ ethernet cable direct from wifi6 router to amazon stick, connectivity problem solved. Brotrend extender is defective, will not hold wireless UDP signal.

Increased my speeds very well
I live in a apartment with no option for ethernet besides running a cable through the living room, i have the highest speed of internet but would get lag in games and sometimes disconnect and streaming was very laggy. Purchasing this and using the ethernet cable into my PC has solved my connection issues in online games, and increased my download speed greatly while also removing most lag from streaming. I have been using it for a few months and the only issue I have is that I have to re-plug it in after restarting my PC or I get bad static in bluetooth headphones but it’s always fixed right away after unplugging and plugging back in which takes 15 seconds to reconnect. Worth the higher price tag if you need the speed.

Muy facil de configurar, conectas el dispositivo con un cable de red al pc y navegas a la ip que te indican. Ahi puedes configurarlo como punto de acceso o extensor de wifi. He probado ambas opciones y me da mejores velocidades en modo AP (mas velocidad que mi actual router). En modo extensor tambien da buena velocidad (led en azul como zona optima entre el router y el pc). Recomendable
