Calm & Glow is right!
I love snail mucin products. They work wonderfully for my balanced-dry, sensitive skin, so I’m always excited to try a new one.This serum is a clear lightweight gel with no noticeable scent. It’s listed as fragrance-free, and, to my nose, there is definitely no smell.It smooths on extremely easily and doesn’t leave a sticky residue behind on my skin. It sinks in beautifully and quickly, disappearing almost entirely within the first few minutes.Applying this, my skin felt incredibly soft almost immediately and looked so smooth and calm. I didn’t experience any irritation or breakouts from this. It was extremely gentle. Compared to other snail mucin serums I’ve tried, this one is completely free of stickiness (like some others, but not all) and seems thinner, but equally effective. Like others I’ve tried, it has no scent to it and absorbs very easily. The texture felt wonderful on my skin.I basically never feel overly moisturized with snail mucin products (not too greasy) or not moisturized enough (too tight) and this is no exception. I’ve tried many different brands at this point and this one is comparable to the best of them.I used this alone, as a stand alone “moisturizer” on days when my skin didn’t really need much help, and under a snail mucin moisturizer on others, when it felt a little more in need of some pampering. I don’t generally wear makeup, so I haven’t tried this under foundation, but considering it sinks in quite well, I don’t imagine it would cause pilling or uneven application.The verdict: This is a great, gentle serum. The snail essence is the star of the show (as it should be, in my opinion) and leaves me looking like I get 10 hours of sleep a night, eat clean and visit an aesthetician twice a week (spoiler alert: I most definitely don’t). My skin is glowing and feels softened and calm. The value is very good on this. It’s a bit larger than most serum bottles, a little goes a long way and it feels wonderful.Recommended.

High quality, unscented serum
Calm & Glow Snail Mucin Serum 96This is the third snail mucin product I’ve tried. The first was a face mask, and I didn’t realize what it was. The second was a cream in a jar, and now this serum. I really like the cream, but it’s messy to use due to the somewhat slimy consistency and having to scoop it out of the jar. This comes in a tall, sleek, light pink bottle with a pump to dispense it, making it mess-free. Like the other snail mucin products I’ve tried, this is fragrance-free, which is a huge win for me, as I’m extremely sensitive to fragrance.The first time I used it by itself, just to see how it was. It is recommended to use after exfoliation or after applying a “concentrated active.” I didn’t know what that was, but luckily it states Vitamin C and Retinol as examples. I just happened to have a brand new bottle with both of those ingredients on hand, so I tried it with that the second time (and since). It feels a little sticky at first but dries quickly and then just feels hydrating.This is a bit on the expensive side for me at $39, but seems like a good sized bottle. If it continues to improve my skin, I’ll gladly try to fit it into my budget.

Excellent quality and very interesting product that works well
I had no idea what to expect out of snail mucin. I finally decided to give it a try and was surprised to find itâs just a clear gooey gel. Why I was surprised, I donât know.I followed the directions exactly and patted it on my face rather than rubbing. It began to feel stickier and gooey to the point of feeling tacky so I was a bit concerned at first. When it became so very sticky, I just stopped and within minutes, I was surprised how smooth and soft my face felt. There was no residue or stickiness whatsoever.So the next time I tried it, I just continued pressing it in all over my entire face, even as it became sticky feeling, and eventually the stickiness was gone, and my face was smooth again. I did not rub once.They say to use it after your retinol or exfoliating treatment. So thatâs what I did. At night I am using it after my prescription retinol treatment and Iâm really liking it.I may have been lucky and found the best quality snail mucin first. This is the one I will keep using.

Used it after a sun burn
This was my first time trying snail musin and if you’re like me and you don’t know what to expect, keep reading. You only ready need 1 pump, MAYBE 1 and a half if you’re trying to put it on a bit heavy. It doesn’t really have a smell, and its kinda sticky. Once it goes onto the skin, it dried pretty quickly but doesn’t make your face feel sticky. Honestly, my skin absorbs it pretty quick and it helps hydrate it. A little goes a long way and even when I put it on my face after a sun burn, it helped instead of making it worse. I’m not sure whats in snail mucin but it works well in hydrating my skill and calming it.
