Quality in it’s highest form!
Perfect fit for my Canon 90D. Adds a studio quality sound for my recordings. Add quality to video that will stand out from the rest.

Needs a foam windscreen too
Would be better if it came with a foam windscreen that fit instead of a furry one. Itâs not as clean and ascetically pleasing as the foam ones that fit perfectly.

Picks up camera operating functions
I liked everything about this mic except the fact that it records operating noises that my EOS R3 camera makes when the mic is attached directly to the hot shoe.I returned it and picked up a Rode Videomic Pro because it has isolation legs and it solved the problem I was having with the Canon DM-E100

Returned.
I felt like this mic picked up too much sound. The video was very noisy. I felt the built in camera for the R6 worked much better without the additional mic.

Not for CANON EOS M200
Does not work for the Canon EOS M200.

Low quality – not worth it
Minimal difference in sound between the DM-E100 and my camera’s build-in microphone (Canon EOS M50 Mark II). Also the DM-E100 picks up a lot of background noise, so you have to do lots of audio adjustments like denoise and compression to make it sound remotely good. And the quality just isn’t there. To be honest, it’s not worth the money. It’s so bad that I will never use it. I would sell it for half what I bought it for just to get rid of it. You can buy an on-camera microphone from Rhode for the same price that’s 1000x better quality.

Fantastic
Easily adaptable to many cameras

Este micrófono ofrece un audio muy limitado, no hay muchas diferencias con el audio en el micrófono integrado en la cámara.
