Great choice for replacing existing ceiling fan
Very lightweight and clean look in the room. Surprisingly powerful fan with clear blades that donât extend far, so less likely to bump with the 8 foot ceiling height. No longer bump the lights, as the design is close to the ceiling. Light color adjusts as does brightness and on the remote one can adjust the fan speed, fan direction (no more climbing on a ladder to switch for season), and light color and brightness. My room is now brighter when I want it to be and the fan gives better circulation than the fan it is replacing. We did have the previous fan on a dual circuit wall switch (one for light one for fan) so we only use one switch now and attached the remote holder that came with the fan and remote above the switch no longer in use. Very pleased with the replacement. Also, the fan comes with a hook that makes it possible to install by only one person. Need existing receptacle and a screwdriver, everything else is included.

Perfect Smart Fan for Bedroom â Quiet, Stylish, and Easy to Use!
Iâm really impressed with this ceiling fan! The low profile design is perfect for my bedroom with lower ceilings, and it looks very modern and clean. Itâs super quiet even at the highest speed, which is great for sleeping.The LED light is dimmable and gives off a nice soft glow, and I love being able to control everything through the app or with Alexa. The remote works well too, and the 6-speed options make it easy to adjust airflow just how I like it.Reversible airflow is a big bonus for year-round comfort. Quiet, powerful fan, decent light, overall great value!
I wanted this because my home office gets so hot but I didn’t want it to look like a fan. Overall, I am happy with my purchase and I don’t think there is anything else out there with this value at this price point. Here are my pros and cons.Pros:- Quiet fan, even at higher speeds.- Easy set up for a ceiling fan, gives you space to connect wires before mounting. I’m slightly above amateur, I’ve changed a few ceiling lights / fans before, and this was the easiest.- Multiple options to control. Remote control is good for the fan, google home is great for the lighting.- fan is more than powerful enough for my needs.- fan can switch directions with a button in google home.Cons:- remote is a little clunky. Function for the fan is great, but the lighting settings aren’t great. hard to tell if they work. Buttons are loud, so I know they’re being clicked…- you need smart home and remote to get the most out of it.

Cooling looking fan! Accept it for what it is and youâll Enjoy it
Taking into account all the negative reviews, I ordered this fan. So far so good. Light is bright and convenient to adjust brightness and color. The fan is quiet and blows great. This is NOT FOR A BIG ROOM. More like a bedroom. This fan will not last as ling as those big âole Hunter room fans with the huge A/C motors the size of automobile break drum (and weighing about the same). Thatâs why you need the mounting box braced between the ceiling studs. This fan is a lightweight unit made for non braced ceiling electrical boxes or just a wired connection mounted on the surface.If you have a bigger room than 8×12, get a bigger fan. If you plan to run a fan all day, get a bigger traditionally made fan.Here are some installation tips that I believe could resolve some issues that people have reported.- If youâve never installed home electrical devices using mounting boxes, screws, wire nuts, hire some that does. Especially if youâre tapping into a junction box that could have multiple wires leading to other outlets/lights. Wire nutting multiple THICK wires with those puny, skinny ones from the fan takes a trick to do them correctly. An incorrect installation could result in a lost connection and the fan not getting power. Worst case would have a live line get lose and case a short.- if youâve got spare cord w/ striped leads, hook up the fan while you can handle it on the ground and test it to make sure it works. One youâre sure it works, the you can climb up and install it on the ceiling. From my experience doing this 1st will avoid taking the fan down. Saves time and all the cuss words.- use some kind of stand or box on the top of the ladder or stand to prop the fan close to the oulet box so you can tie the wires can reach while being connected. A second pair of hands to hold up the fan would be helpful.- 1st secure the mounting plate tight against the wiring box. Pick the slots that have the shortest length so the screws donât allow the plate clock a lot. If the box is recessed that wonât allow you to cinch the plate against it, get different hardware so that you can use double nuts to lock the mounting plate so that it wonât spin.- the last step is important because when you install the fan against it, you will need to twist the flange body to lock into the (4) screws that extend from the mounting plate. If the plate moves, then youâll have a hard time locking the fan onto the plate.- If the plate is secured, you will be able to twistlock the fan in place. But You cannot not just lock the fan onto the screws. You need tighten the screws to secure the fan securely into the mounting plate flanges. The fan will vibrate a lot if itâs not secured tightly onto the flanges.Hope this helps! Although itâs pretty and high tech, Just remember it ainât going to last 30 years like the fan youâre drelacing it with. Thatâs why it doesnât cost hundreds of dollars.
