    Works well, appears durable.
I was surprised how dense this insulation was- pretty tough unlike some of the fragile insulation I’ve used before. Used it to insulate the inside of a toaster oven. Elements are touching the insulation and get red hot with no apparent damage. Was easy to cut and place around oven elements. No complaints, I’d buy more if I needed it.

    Just what I needed
It dose the job. It’s hard to find smaller pieces of fireproof insulation like this, so I was happy to find one on Amazon. I only needed it for fire protection below my fireplace/ash box. I’m happy with the purchase.

used to insulate my BBQ pit
Used this to line my BBQ pit so didn’t loose heat as I was. Cut down to size and split in half. Lined my pit and anchored to sides. When tested my pit with less charcoal got my heat up to 450 degrees. Worked great and happy with pit now

Great product holds heat for a long time and cuts easy.
Good product. I used it to make a mini kiln like Simon Leach made for bisque firing ceramic and it works very well. It is durable easy to cut and true to the dimensions stated. Holds heat very well. What I did not expect although it was not a big deal was it is impregnated with small silica beads that do fall out and get everywhere. I did not see that mentioned anywhere so just know that.

    Worked for my application
Cuts with junk scissors and installed fine. Itchy to work with, and don’t breathe it in.
