This blade features a thin kerf, which makes it ideal for saws that are a bit underpowered, but at the same time this tool delivers great performance. You will be satisfied with the excellent price/quality ratio. The laser cut heavy-duty blade plate is hardened to allow for great resistance (46-48 Rockwell in hardness) and features expansion slots to reduce noise and anti-vibration design. The teeth are made of micrograin carbide to ensure long-lasting cutting performance and deliver smooth cut on wood and wood products. These are brazed to the blade body through a special trimetallic bond (copper-silver-copper), so that longer cut performance and resistance are guaranteed. Blade is delivered in a unique CMT plastic case.
For rip and crosscuts. The large gullets allow deep cuts and effective chip clearance.
Cut solid wood, melamine, laminates, plywood, chipboard. Use on radial arm/miter saws, table saws.
0.098 kerf thickness, 0.071 plate thickness, 15° Hook Angle, 1 Flat + 4/20° alternate teeth Grind.
Micrograin carbide for long-lasting cutting performance and smooth cut on wood/wood products.
Laser-cut plate features expansion slots to reduce noise and anti-vibration design.

Customers say

The blade is sharp as a razor, creates clean cuts, and is durable without tear out. They appreciate its quiet operation and smooth cutting performance, with one customer noting it glides right through the material. Excellent Blade with Outstanding Long-Term Value
As I mentioned in my review of the CMT dado stack set, this company just keeps impressing me. Their blades are extremely sharp, durable and balanced. The combination blade in particular is very versatile in that it is great for both cross-cuts and rip-cuts, especially for dimensional lumber. When I cut hard woods, I am more inclined to change out the blades for dedicated rip-cutting or cross-cutting purposes, which I do recommend. If you are a serious, or semi-serious woodworker, one thing to keep in mind is how easy and valuable it is to swap out your blades in a table saw, as this gives you the ability to clean your blades regularly and keep them in top condition. CMT is known for their blades being able to be re-sharpened up to twenty times whereas Diablo blades are good, but are more “disposable” in my opinion. And since CMT and Diablo are about the same price, get the CMT and save money in the long run.

Best blade in a long time
This blade is worth every penny. Handles both rip cuts and cross grain perfectly. The cut surface looks like it went through a wood joiner – smooth. No vibration and no deflection on the blade. My fixed motor table saw has no problem making the cuts.I would definitely recommend this blade and eventually change all my blades to this brand.

Definitely a must if you need a new primary or just a backup! Especially for the price!
I was looking for a backup blade for my Dewalt Table Saw. I had a Diablo Think Kerf that I really enjoy, but you never know when something might happen.I searched around and read reviews, went to the CMT website after seeing this and read up on the blade and reviewed the differences in their models. I had purchased the CMT Orange Dado set and have been super impressed by that.. so figured I’d give it a try.Boy, did I pick a winner. I love this blade. The thickness is perfect and doesn’t overheat when doing long cuts (I will say that most of my cuts are soft woods). The cuts themselves are impeccable. Love them greatly. I purchased this as a backup, but it’s become my primary for now.I’m still waiting for the negative, and if that happens I’ll update the review.. but GREAT blade.. and Excellent price (was in the 30’s when I found it).

    Great replacement blades
I am very impressed with the CMT Orange blades! I have switched to CMT on all of my saws, 12” miter, 10” table saw, and 7 1/4” circular saw. Very smooth cuts. Great performance. It’s a must buy to improve your tools.

    Sharpest blade I’ve ever owned
First thing I want to say is that even though the literature said this blade has a flat tooth, it was not ground high enough to give a flat bottom slot. That said, this is the sharpest blade I have ever owned. It cut through walnut 1/2 inch thick and you could barely hear the blade cut. It left a fine smooth surface with no tear out. The carbide inserts are sharpened so well that I do believe they are nearly sharp as a razor. I had the blade laying on my workbench and accidentally lightly brushed my finger on one of the teeth and sliced my finger. The literature also mentioned something about laser cuts which helps the blade run quieter and that’s true, it does not whine like many other blades do. Even though I purchased this blade because I needed one that would give me a flat bottom slot I am not going to return it because I am so impressed with the quality. I prefer buying made in USA but this plate is made in Italy I have no problem with that. It certainly is not one of those Chinese pieces of junk. This sawblade may cost a little more than a lot of the blades out there but once you try it you will agree with me that it is well worth the money.

Just got it, very nice, + many extras
I’ve had 40T, 50T, & 60T, 10 inch table saw blades. From OEM to to Freud, Diablo, to Irwin-Marples, Italian (design/made on the last 3).Every blade has been a full 1/8″ thick 0.125″ full kerf blade. This new CMT blade is a thin kerf at 0.098″ That’s at the carbide, 0.07 for the body of the blade. That’s just over 3/32″ thick. This new CMT Blade is chrome plated,Laser cut heat expansion slots, & those slots are filled with a noise & vibration reduction polymer. CMT used harmonic Steel from Germany, CMT designed & made the blade in Italy. Tri-metal Brazing on the Carbide teeth to handle high stress & impact of cutting different kinds of woods. Plus the teeth are able to be professionallyre-sharpen.This new CMT Blade is a 4+1 ATB so,2 teeth bevel left, 2 bevel right and 1 has a FLAT grind. Which is REALLY GOOD for rabbet cuts, or lap joints, or a daddo if you will (one swipe at a time) that way you are not having to come back and sand a bunch afterwards OR come back with a chisel afterwards and clean up/out a big mess. Just a light touch up & your done. But so far I’m really liking the new blade a lot. I would give it a true 4.5 star rating !

    Best sawblade I’ve ever used
Best sawblade I’ve ever used. I am a home-improvement contractor and I’ve used many different sawblades from different companies and this is by far the best one that I have ever used. Not only doesn’t cut well, but it looks fantastic.

Been always a big fan of CMT – good blade and stays sharp if well treated. No wobble and clean cut with very minimal tear out.

After much measuring and blade rotating etc. (Using another quality blade which produced similar run out characteristics), it seems the arbor on the new table saw was causing the run out problem, not the blade (as suggesed by the manufacturer), so faith in the brand is restored. Have left the original review below, just in case others have had similar experiences. Whilst not a newby, I have certainly learnt a lot about this unexpected issue and how to check for it. I am told a replacement arbor is on the way.Old review: Looked forward to the arrival of this blade mainly because of all the rave reviews. However, I ended up very disappointed as the blade “sings” (high pitch) but more importantly, runs out of true on one part of the blade (about 0.4/0.5mm, as best I could measure it). This is evident in a practical way by the scraping teeth at that point (portion) of the blade on one side of a zero clearance cross slide when the blade is slowing down or is moved manually. So while useable, it is very annoying. I may have just been unlucky, but this first off experience makes it hard to trust the brand… Or maybe, I was just expecting too much.
