I purchased this battery pack one year ago for my brand new Oculus 2 the unit battery wasn’t working for me. I was getting around 2 to 2 1/2hrs on the system so I started looking around for battery packs. I stumbled across this particular product and i must say it worked out great in fact I was so impressed with this product that I ended up buying one for my son. This is the best thing you can have if you like to play on your Oculus for extended periods of time. the great thing about it is we get to enjoy immersing ourselves into the games without worrying about getting off because of power drainage. we get on average 4 to 4 1/2 hours on these units and best of all it charges the head unit too. In total with the two batteries we get an average of 7 to 8hrs of playtime depending on the game and frame rate that you’re using. I would definitely recommend this product for anyone but particularly for those fathers and sons who like to play these games in virtual reality together. just be careful it lasts so long you lose track of time. So gear up and enjoy all the hours of play time. Side note you can leave the battery pack attached to the power of the Oculus 2 and it will charge both units by simply plugging in the battery pack. you can activate the battery pack by putting your unit on then turn the knob on the back of the power pack and it will show you the display in the headset of your percentage of power in the headset. it typically uses the power from the battery pack first. then once the pack is dead you will have the power that is in the head unit for that additional 2 to 2 1/2 hrs hope this helps stay blessed everyone

Super-comfortable strap with extended battery. Love it!
The two best things about this Oculus Quest 2 strap are the comfort and the extended battery life.This is my second strap upgrade for my Oculus Quest 2. The strap that comes with the Quest 2 is OK, just not quite comfortable enough for long sessions. I upgraded to a knock-off elite strap. It was better, but I still wanted better comfort and a longer battery life without the need for an external power pack.The Busqueda Elite Strap gives me what I was craving for a Quest 2 strap. It is super-comfortable with a larger section at the back that softly cradles the back of my head. The battery is mounted at the back and that adds to the comfort because it balances the weight of the heavier Quest at the front. Plus, it gives a few more hours of paly time on the Quest without the battery dying.I often watch movies with my Quest while laying on my back or relaxing in a recliner with a pillow behind my head. Even though that battery adds bulk to the back of the headstrap, it did not affect the comfort when using the Quest in this position. It was even more comfortable in this position than my previous strap that had less bulk.I really liked the look of the strap too. The battery charge indicator on the back of the strap was a nice feature too. It indicates how full the battery charge, turns red when charge is low, and indicates when the battery is charging. The glowing ring looks really nice. My only wish is that the glowing ring charge indicator would stay lit at all times when the strap was in use providing power to the Quest. For the indicator to light up, you have to turn the dial a bit or have the unit charging.It seems to be stupidly constructed with just enough flexibility to make sure the strap isn’t brittle and subject to easily breaking. Time will tell if it remains so. It is easy to install on the Quest if you know how to detach and attach Quest straps. Once you get the hang of this, it is easy.I do wish that there were better, clearer instructions with this strap. If I didn’t already know how to detach or attach a Quest strap, I would have struggled with this installation. But that is the case for any Quest strap. There are enough YouTube videos out there to show how to do this.Overall, a good, sturdy comfortable Quest 2 strap that I would highly recommend.

THE BEST BATTERY STRAP I’VE USED
This is really the best! The battery is long lasting, compact and hardly noticable once you’re strapped in.I stream VR games and this has been a life saver, I hate being tethered and tangled by a USB cord for long sessions and this has been my favorite of the many solutions we’ve tried!The quality is very nice, and with the exception of the plastic clips coming undone occasionally I’ve had no problem with the unit itself.I haven’t had any noticeable problems with overheating, and the ratchet clamp on the back provides a perfect fit that is extremely comfortable and adjustable at any point in the session.

Loved this thing on my Quest 2. Just sold the unit yesterday when I upgraded to the Quest 3, but if you’re getting a Quest 2 due to their drop in price I definitely would pick one of these up. They’re very comfortable and work extremely well for extending the battery life.
