Cute and useful
This is a cute, light weight bin. It is a good size to allow for a bio bag and a whatever you want to put in in. I think you could probably fit most food scraps and possible corn cobs. Keeps things clean and neat on the counter while cookie. I tend to empty mine frequently so no issues with odor this far.

Much Needed!
This was much better than collecting in bags. Looks cute and cleans easily. Pro tip- donât overfill and donât fill so much the scraps touch the carbon filter or itâll smell and need cleaning. I bought compostable bag liners and now have a great system for collecting scraps for compost.

Great compost bin!
Over all I’d buy this again. My only slight issue is that I have to grab and lift with the handle without any angle to the pull. If I pull at an angle the ends of the handle come out of the knob attached to the main body of the bin.I keep my compost bin in the fridge so I don’t get bugs or smells. I imagine the black filter might be helpful if I had it on the counter but unknown to me.The size is great! Just the right width to put into the fridge door shelf.

This is perfect for storing cat litter waste. It’s also much easier to clean and has a nice wide opening for putting the clumps into. It’s not compost but the idea is the same. ð©

A great countertop compost bin with one small caveat
This bin looks great and absolutely works at reducing odor. My only slight complaint is that the lid fits on super tight. That’s a good thing, I know. But when I have food scraps in one hand, I can’t open the container with the other one – it takes two hands to remove the lid. Again, I know that it’s more important to have a tight seal than it is to have an easy-to-remove lid. So giving five stars, but just letting you know!

Cute and easy to clean. Keeps the smell contained. Looks good on the counter just wish there was something in it that can keep the bag in place.

Holds lots but does not take up much space on counter. Handy and looks good. Hytrend Kitchen Food Waste Bags fit very well (also sold by Amazon) and they are made of paper rather than plastic.

I’ve had an older plastic compost for years and it was messy, and attracted fruit flies because it wouldn’t seal properly. This one does and it has filters in the top to deal with any smells. Wonderful product!

I really like the style of this product which I received in May 2024 (8 months ago). However, beware, (1) it started to rust within 3-4 months. Itâs still useable. (2) The metal rim on the bottom is a problem. It has tended to mark my quartz countertop so I found some Teflon furniture leg pads to keep it from rubbing on my countertop. (3) Top rim has lost paint finish. If these three things could be addressed, I would give 5 stars.

I like the look of this pail which uses the 1.2 gallon biodegradable bags. Comes with a nice wooden handle, it looks vintage. The Charcoal Filter has withstood, after a month’s use, there is still no odour. Unfortunately, I could not find replacement filters that were the same size so I had to purchase some that were a tad larger and will have to be cut to size. Highly recommend.
