Connect the two parts in the middle of the compost stirring tool.Use our compost stirring tool,simply grasp the spinning handles, into your pile.You can mention it without rotation. Pull up the compost of the compost box to add the air. The drill bits pull the fertilizers from the bottom to mix it.
Two installation methods
Installation method 1
You just need to tighten the nut. It is easy to install and disassemble. But there may be some wiggle between the connecting rods.
Installation method 2
Step 1: Connect the screws and fix them in place with the wrench we provide.（It is recommended to use a metal ring spacer in the package.t）

Step 2: After the screws are fixed, tighten the nut clockwise with another wrench. It can make it tighter.

A little tweaking to be a great tool
I was hesitant to purchase this because there were no reviews at the time. But decided to give it a try because of the blades versus spiral wire. Glad I did.When it arrived, I assembled it and found the shaft to be a bit wobbly. Disassembled, added 1 layer of cloth tape around each “male” end, making the connection tighter. Re-assembled, solid feeling tool.In the compost pit, I was able to turn 3 – 4×4 ft pits in less time than it used to take me to turn the stuff by pitchfork in 1 pit. Easy to rotate it into the piles, lifted it straight up, new vegetation fell into hole, dirt and worms fell on top.For the price and convenience, I’d recommend and would by again.

Works very well.
Great size and turns the compost pile well. The segments of the pipe are a bit loose when they are connected and so the shift rattles and clicks as you’re using it. Doesn’t really affect its effectiveness but it feels just a bit unsolid. I put a little bit of tape around the male ends like others mentioned before connecting the segments, but it’s still a bit loose, even though the wing nuts are cranked down tight.On the topic of wing nuts, they are a bit bulky and uncomfortable when you grab onto them by mistake when you’re trying to clean the spiral off. Lock nuts would be much better on this product..

Copied others’ advice, adding some electrical tape when joining the sections of shaft, made it stable. The auger turns well through the compost pile and I had no trouble pulling it up through the material. So far, quite satisfied, and it’s far easier than what I had been doing.

I really like this tool. The assembly is straight forward. All the items required for assembly are provided, including the tools, plus a nice pair of gardening gloves! I have seen reviews that say the shaft is flimsy when assembled. However, I used the supplied nuts and bolts instead of the optional wing nuts and there is no shaft movement. This is a sturdy and strong tool and I highly recommend it.
