It really is SO gentle
This is a wonderful find for someone with fine hair. I have some hair concerns after having some hairloss due to a medication and so right now, I am really trying to be super careful with it. I didn’t know what a silicone clip would feel like. Would it pull???? It does not. This curling iron is a dream come true for treating your hair gently. It doesn’t even have full heat to it, it only goes to 385 degrees F. It does a wonderful job and creates zero friction. I’m so glad I found this curling iron! I use it for smoother waves on naturally wavy, fine-ish hair.

Love the design! and its lightweight, easy to use, the heat level dial is ‘not’ in the way so no fear of turning it up or down while curling, this is the “best” curling iron I’ve ever bought, highly recommend!Plus I have fine hair and would lose hair with my other iron, not with this one, so it’s a win-win!

Bought 3 times. Really gentle
Have bought this model 3 times. I just got one for backup in case the second one that I am currently using breaks from wear. Iâve had the current one for over a year. The very first one I bought was several years back, but after it wore out I could not find the same model as a replacement.It is very gentle. I have no problem with the way it stands or sits on the counter. It works just fine. It really reduces breakage. My hair is fine and gray so I have to be careful bc I use it daily.

won’t stand on counter, burned my head and hands
Aside from the awkwardness of the design, which made my burn my hands and scalp a few times during one session, the cord is a real pain and the barrel is too heavy toward the front, so when you try to prop it on the “stand”, the whole thing tips forward and touches the countertop. I tried for 20 minutes to get this to prop up on the tiny feet it stands on and it tipped over every time, even when I kept moving the cord out of the way. It’s going back.

I think this is a great curling iron and works very well; however, a word of caution⦠this is for REALLY fine and silky hair. Some of my hair has texture and I find that it causes a lot of friction or tugging on my hair. I think this is perfect for fine hair but maybe best for only fine silky hair.
