Iâve been using the CoolCrazy Dash Cam for a few weeks, and overall, itâs a solid choice! The front-facing camera captures crystal-clear footage both day and night, license plates and signs are easy to read even in low light. Setup was fast, and the suction mount stays firmly in place without shaking.The wide-angle lens covers a lot of the road, giving me extra peace of mind while driving. The loop recording and G-sensor are great, after a sudden stop last week, it saved the clip automatically.One thing to note: the back-facing lens isnât as clear as the front. Itâs usable, but the video is noticeably softer and less detailed. Still, it gets the job done for rear coverage.The interface is simple and user-friendly, and for the price, you get a lot of value. If youâre looking for a dependable dash cam, this is a great pick!

This dash cam exceeded my expectations! The 4K front and 1080P rear video quality is incredibly sharp, even at night thanks to the night vision and HDR. It came with a free 64GB card, so it was ready to go right out of the box. Setup was simple, and the 5G WiFi and app control make it easy to download and view footage on my phone. Excellent dashcam. Very easy to setup and operate. Easy to connect to the phone app via wifi and connection is super fast. Picture quality is excellent. Love the size of the dashcam and the screen. Suction cup sticks to the glass like glue. The included memory card is plenty large with loop recording on.

Buy something better if you can
The camera itself records in decent quality and was easy to set up but the app functionality is absolutely terrible. The device continuously turns off WiFi mode every few minutes for some reason, even after I turned the screen saver off and kept the app open, with my phone literally next to the device. In order to surf through a day of footage I had to reconnect half a dozen times. Then to make things worse, the device routinely freezes and must be unplugged in order to reset it. Leading me to need to connect to WiFi again and start all over.Another small gripe I have over this product is that it requires extra hardware for the 24 hour parking mode. That is mentioned here on the product page, so I take blame for that ofcourse. However I donât think they should mention this function in the title if you need extra stuff to use it – it seems intentionally misleading. I came to my vehicle and found front end damage, yet bo footage, after I struggled with the terrible app connectivity for half an hour.

DISAPPOINTED – But now Happy
Dash camera that fails to work in the car is worthless. Last week the afternoon temp was 90° & after 2 hours the SD card lost connection. Next day it was 94° and the card failed again & the front camera quit working (Rear camera was fine- SAME TEMP in car?). I sent an email to company per card in box – NO ANSWER.I did a search on Amazon for a heat tolerant camera & this model came up. Nice picture/video and good app. How can it record parking lot if it shuts down/fails if the sun is out? Guess you need to remove the camera from the car during the day?FOLLOW UP – July 28, 2025Long Story – Different company reps (did not offer names) contacted me AFTER my review. One rep informed me these cameras are rated for 150°. Several offers made including free replacement, which I received. After one week of testing, I discovered camera would not turn on after several days being parked. In the menu, I changed recording time from 12 Hours to 72 Hours, and so far the camera continues to operate (recent outdoor temp was 97°).

I have no issues with this product after trying 2 dashcams before (1 from tiktok shop and 1 from ebay)This one is slightly higher price wise but setup and user friendly makes it so worth it.I am more impressed with the durability and quality material used. Plus it looks stylish and compliments car interior nicely.

Amazing unit. Everyone just works. Only thing that’s kinda crap is the 12 volt. I recommend using a usb c cable and a low profile fast charger and a 2 foot cable.Picture is amazing. Interface is great. App is straight forward.

Die COOLCRAZY Dashcam begleitet mich mittlerweile seit ein paar Wochen. Mit Begeisterung stelle ich fest, dass ich alle wichtigen Details in gestochen scharfem Bild und auch bei Nacht erkennen kann, weil mich das integrierte HDR-Verfahren auch bei Dunkelheit nicht im Stich lässt und Nummernschilder lesbar bleiben. Auch hier wollte ich nicht zurückstecken.Die Integration von GPS in die Kamera finde ich super und es live die Geschwindigkeit und den Ort anzeigt – ich finde das einfach gut und sie geben ein sicheres Gefühl damit. Der Parkmonitor für die volle 24 Stunden gibt mir gerade beim parken im Dunkeln ein sicheres Gefühl.Am meisten Spaà macht mir das Filmfieber auf dem Smartphone, so lange das gute Stück dabei ist. Da für ein passendes 64 GB Karte gleich dabei ist, finde ich das super praktisch.Die App mit 5G WiFi-Verbindung funktioniert gut – einfach die Verbindung zum Handy herstellen und schon kann man sich die Videos anschauen oder runterladen, ohne SD-Karte eingebaut zu haben! Die Installation war einfach zu meistern – einfach drücken Sie den Saugnapf auf die Scheibe, ziehen Sie einfach das Kabel, so dass es nicht im Weg ist und los gehtâs. Die Kamera saà prima und hat nicht gestört.Fazit: Tolle Bildqualität, einfache Bedienung was will man mehr.
